And former Michigan verbal Marquis Maze scored the final touchdown for the Tide. Michigan completely dropped Maze (they made no contact whatsoever) when he took an official visit to Tennessee. Can't blame RichRod for this one as Carr was still the coach, but he'd be a perfect fit for the spread offense. Oh well, too bad for the Wolverines....sandgk;1341565; said:Worth noting - Mark Ingram, the featured RB on that drive (and TD scorer) kept his recruitment open till at least the third week of January.
He was a 3*, but has the profile of a back that RR should like and entice.
No offer from, no visit to TSUN - now starring for the Tide - and Saban holds him to be the most talented running back. There's a story there about a Head Coach and his ability to assess talent, a story that leaves one of those coaches in a good light.
I think that Alabama wins ... I always take defense and line play over offensive skilled positions.Gatorubet;1341967; said:Anyone who thinks that we are gonna roll Bama is hitting the crack pipe.
They are a well coached, well rounded team. They have big, physical linemen on both sides of the ball, which is a big worry to me. They have a punishing big back, and they are capable of keeping our playmakers off the field for extended periods. With Percy unlikely to play, a big task gets bigger.
If we beat them, I think we will be deserving of a bid to play in Miami.
I vote for Texas over the Okies, as the head to head on the two best teams is my tie breaker.
I take Texas as well.
