Sounds like an old fashioned 'Green Mail' type of ploy. Rattle your saber, and then settle, as the far cheaper road than litigation. Surprised that the FSU and Clemson didn't try the 'Texas Channel' as a way of monetizing their (assumed) popularity. Guess they don't have the kind of stroke that Texas does. Or the channels said, "oh hell no" to them. The Buckeyes and Xichigan could have played that card decades ago, but didn't. Was pretty certain before, but now am absolutely certain, that these two schools are not worthy of being in the B10. Can't imagine that the SEC hierarchy feels much differently than this 'all-for-me' attitude.

This is the part that cracks me up. Nobody gives a shit about these two teams. Down seasons and they will not move the needle at all like Ohio State does.
