I've had Uverse for a while now and would never give it up. Record four channels at once, whole house DVR and added two days ago. the ability to puse and rewind live tv on every box in the house.

Very few service interuptions, lightning quick wireless, and flawless picture.

Girl came back yesterday... still while i was at work... but anyway... wife signed up. U300... will likely add the hd for 10 more a month... internet and phone... will be 140 for 6 moths... then 155 for additional 6... Figure it gives me some time to try it and leverage for insight to deal me back or for at&t to keep me. Only need to see if I can get out of doing auto withdrawal. With 4 kids I need a little flexibility on when I pay. I always do, but can't have a certain day that it runs every month. Do you guys have auto withdrawal or pay when you can?

Just an FYI...I cancelled my cable at my apartment a few days ago, and when they ask you why you want to cancel, say it's too expensive just trying to cut back. They'll drop the price for 6 months. Also did that with our Internet 6 months ago

I have an amazing deal right, getting like a $170 package for $105 for 6 months. They told me, once the 6 months is up, if i just call customer service or go into an ATT store and complain about it being to high and i want to switch, they will take the price back down to where it was, or close to it.

They obviously want people really bad...but i had Insight at my other apartment and they didn't do anything like that.

AT&T blows. Constant freezing and the HD isn't very clear. I'm a DirectV guy, only reason I can't have DirecTV is the apartment I live in has a tree right off my patio, so they wouldn't install the dish. Stuck with AT&T until November, when I move to Vegas, back to DirecTV!!

I had it a couple years ago when it first came out, and loved it. Have not been able to get it again until I moved last month. I am happy to be able to get it again! Never had any problems with the service that was related to AT&T (wind storm in '08). Love being able to record 4 shows at once, and the channel lineup of the U200 seems to me to be better overall than the higher TWC or Insight packages. I had the lowest possible internet (2Mbs) and never had any problems with it being to slow or lagging during peak hours.

Overall, I love it!

I didn't know about the live TV to every box upgrade until you posted this. So, of course, I immediately checked it out for myself...out-fucking-standing!

Nate G, the whole recording four channels at once thing is very nice, but that's only true for SD shows. IIRC, Uverse still only allows two HD feeds at a time, and having one or two of your boxes playing or recording HD will reduce the number of shows that you can record at that time.

I actually did go back to Uverse shortly after this discussion. Unplugging/rebooting was never the answer, but rather bad connections on the inside of the wall plate. I'd had one Uverse install, a TWC install, and another Uverse install, and it wasn't found until the second Uverse install. The Uverse guy said that they were supposed to put new connections in for all new installs. I imagine that that was a big part of their intial problems in Columbus. They were trying to hook up their new equipment to old line that were often run by amateurs.

I've had Uverse for over a year now, and I just came to the end of my one year promotion of having U450, 10Mbps internet, and unlimited voice for U.S. calls for ~ $180 (including tax and other charges). After the promo, the cost was going to go up about $60 or $70, so I knocked it back to the U200. I'll just pick up the sports package in about a month, so I don't miss any football or soccer.

Overall, I've been a lot happier with Uverse than I was during my first attempt. Even on the U200, I think that they have a better channel lineup (for me) than TWC does. The biggest problem is that Uverse doesn't have Fox Soccer, BBC America, and a few others in HD, but TWC does. That doesn't outweigh the fact that TWC doesn't have the NFL network, so I can't see myself switching (again) any time soon. Basically, look at the lineups and see what's right for you.
Uverse now has Fox Soccer and GolTV in HD. Still waiting on some of my non-sports channels to become available in HD, but I think that all of the sports channels, that I care about, are now in HD.
