Oberlin is the last team from Ohio to beat the Buckeyes, a 7-6 game in 1921, played at Ohio Field the year before the ‘Shoe opened. Wooster did tie the Buckeyes 7-7 in the ‘Shoe in 1924. Maybe Gordon Gee called it a win for Wooster!Excellent read, thanks for sharing that. I particularly enjoyed the @BB73 comment. I laugh because I got recruited by Wooster and they touted themselves (somewhat in jest) as the last Ohio team to beat OSU. Until that visit, I had no idea about that game.
