Will update if these S9-HD headphones last longer than two months after they've absorbed a summers' worth of sweat.
Whelp, these things suck for actual "active" use. BT stream cuts out making music unlistenable, and the behind the head wrap-around band just bounces up-and-down and doesn't stay seated. Complete P.O.S. for road running. Taking them back tomorrow and exchanging them for JayBird 200s.

OK, 24 hours with the new I phone. I got the 32 gig. Never had an I phone, switched from Verizon. I had a touch. So I am somewhat familiar with the system.

First Impressions:

The sync function between the calander/address book and Outlook was seamless. No importation issues. It set up my pop and stmp servers with zero problems. That was slick.

No problems with music uploads, done all that before with the touch.

Compass is cool. I am sure that it will come in good use if my plane ever goes down in Antartica.

No apps yet. Not figured out what I want on there. Kinda clueless about that.

Only beef is that the camera is barely OK. I know it was supposed to be an upgrade, but seriously...

I am going to play with Skype today. That should be interesting.

Anyone download the LogMeIn app? 30$ but it allows you to access your desk top from your Iphone. Has good reviews. It would be nice to access files on the road.
Can I download things from my PC to my I-phone when I am logged in? or can I just look at them. Or...would I have to e-mail them to my phone from my desktop.

There are few what I would term life changing pieces of technology; car, computer, a willing girl. I would put the Iphone somewhere on that list.

Serously, an amazing piece of equipment. Totally worth the $.
Bingo. You don't realize how amazing it is until you actually own one.

First complaint. Battery life. I am a heavy user and it will not last a work day. Have to re-charge from time to time and I worry about damaging the battery with partial re-charges.

I saw the comment about the Morphie, is that a good solution?

EDIT: I turned off the wi-fi and cut the brightness by 60%. That seems to help a lot.

Yes, battery life sucks. In addition to the wi-fi and brightness, also turn the 3G, emal push, bluetooth and Location Services off when they are not needed.

LogMeIn is great. You can also download the free version that basically does the same thing. Yes, you can dowload from your PC

GPS, WiFi/BT and push email are ginormous battery suckers.

I think the iPhone's battery life is actually very good considering everything it does, and of course the battery life will appear better later when the new-ness has worn off and you're not idly playing with it every second of the day and draining the battery. :wink2:

It would be nice if they had accessible batteries. It's crucial for me to have a backup battery when I'm in the field, say at a recruiting camp and need to be posting/browsing all day, or out shooting a sports tournament where I won't see any outlets for about 12+ hours. The $5 extra batteries (for my BB) are life-savers in those situations.
