Read this in the local newspaper (Wake Weekly)...about a former local from Wakefield High School....here are a couple of the interesting quotes:

?I had a bunch of Penn State and Ohio State people facebooking me, telling me we made their season. They said any time we come up there the drinks are on them.?

Young recalls being approached by a young boy, around 8 years old, donning blue and maize face paint and a blue Chad Henne Michigan jersey.

The boy looked at Young and said, ?This is my first football game and you beat my favorite football team.?

Not knowing what to say, Young started to apologize. But the boy interrupted and turned to Young?s picture in his program, and asked for his autograph.

Just another reason why neither TSUN nor PSU should be ranked after today. But how many voters will be aware of this before submitting their poll?

Stunned!! A rough day for the Mountaineers. We were as unprepared for Wofford's triple option as TSUN was unprepared for our spread. It's inexplicable, however, since they are in our conference and have been running that same offense for years.

It's still great to be a Mountaineer, even if we're not quite so hot, hot, hot.

Yes, two tough losses, but still in contention for the playoffs, and a long shot to win the Southern Conference. Of course, with no undefeated teams remaining, but with 5 teams in the top 25, the Southern Conference is the SEC of I-AA.:wink2:
