Might this be the first time in Tressel's tenure that a player gets drafted No. 1 overall in consecutive spring game drafts? The big event is Wednesday at 1:30.
Defensive end Thaddeus Gibson was the man last year. Let's look at the odds he can repeat....
Seniors are previously split up between the teams, so they don't get drafted.
Also, I'm guessing Tressel will predetermine the quarterbacks, as well, putting Terrelle Pryor on one team, Joe Bauserman on the other, and having Justin Siems change sides halfway through the scrimmage.
That leaves the seniors to determine at which position does an underclassmen have the biggest edge on his position-mates?
RB: Dan Herron, Saine? Both fine choices.
WR: DeVier Posey probably is the clear No. 1, but is he that much better than Lamaar Thomas or Taurian Washington to deserve a top selection? No.
FB, TE: Seriously?
OL: We discussed Boren above. He might be a challenger to Gibson at No. 1.
DT: I suppose Dexter Larimore, being the most experienced underclassman, is a dark horse.
LB: Brian Rolle or Etienne Sabino are pretty even here.
S: The starters are seniors, so Jermale Hines may stand out among underclassmen. Orhian Johnson, though, should at least be in the discussion.
CB: Ah, here we go -- Chimdi Chekwa, a junior, is clearly the top corner. A strong contender to unseat Gibson. The reason Gibson gets the edge, I feel, is because he has a greater chance to impact the game.
So to sum up, here are my top-pick odds for Wednesday:
2-1: Thaddeus Gibson
5-2: Chimdi Chekwa
8-1: Justin Boren

Ticket master said everybody has to have tickets even children. Then they go on to say children under 6 is free. When I tried to purchase tickets there was no option for children under 6.
On another note I'm going to take my daughter to her first game this fall. Since she will be under 3 years old will she require a full price ticket?
Thanks for the help.

Question #2.....I do believe that all persons, young children included, do need a ticket to enter a regular Buckeye Football Game.
The OSU Ticket office should be able to confirm / clarify
