Annual Spring Game - 2009

The Big 10 Network has announced that they're going to do the same thing they did last year. They'll be having reports from all of the Big 10 spring games, including all of them that occur on the 25th (there are 6 that day).

I would bet that they would then replay the spring games for each team in its entirety at least once. And I would bet that they will replay the Ohio State Spring Game a bajillion times. ...just like last year

they showed all the spring games live on bigtennetwork.com last year, hopefully they do it again this year

...sort of...

On the day when there are 6 games happening at once, they do their best, hopping around a lot. That's why I worded my post the way I did.

The point is, don't bother DVRing it live. They will show the Buckeye spring game in its entirety several times over the remainder of the spring and into the summer.

bigtennetwork.com. That means they showed them live on the website, correct? No need to jump around when the only people watching that dedicated stream are the fans of that program.

Sometimes they'll let the clock run between plays - it's not official timekeeping like a regular game.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Tressel also determine the amount of time each quarter is? I seem to remember one of the quarters was a lot shorter a few years ago. I think it was Pittman's first spring game.

Anyway, the wife and I are planning on going, along with our son who will be about 10 weeks old at that time.
We'll see how that goes. (May be more of a pain in the ass than it's worth.)

I think there was a 'clock adjustment' by JT a few years ago.

As far as the Son-of-Zurp, congrats; just remember than when Pryor completes a bomb to Posey, don't spike him.

It's a normal scrimmage with an overload able to change things as he sees fit. There were consecutive possessions for one squad during one of the recent games.

I don't believe the Big Ten Network is doing what they did last year.

Spring football coverage on Big Ten Network - Big Ten Network

The Big Ten Network will have the most comprehensive spring football coverage, with four separate studio shows beginning on April 11.

On three consecutive Saturdays in April, the Big Ten Network will present special hour-long editions of Big Ten Tonight to bring fans the best action, extended highlights, analysis and interviews with head coaches and top players from every Big Ten spring football game. The special episodes of Big Ten Tonight will air at 10 PM ET on April 11, 18 and 25.
The network will air a 90-minute Big Ten Spring Football Wrap-Up at 8 PM ET on April 30
Live local television and streaming plans for the spring games vary by university.
While the schedule for the 25th is not yet listed, neither Michigan's game on the 11th, nor any of the games on the 18th appear on the Big Ten Network schedule. They are showing live baseball and softball games on each of those afternoons (OSU on the 18th).

10TV and ONN will carry the game in Ohio. I'm not sure if it will be streamed anywhere.
