I just hope that Geiger stepping down slows the assualt that is being levied against our university.
If AG was truly as disliked by ignorant members of the media as it may seem, then hopefully they will back off once the NCAA clears us.
Ain't gonna stop raining till all the clouds clear..

Wednesday they go for the jugular to promote their garbage story.<O:p</O:p

Tuesday: Bemoll.<O:p</O:p

Wednesday: Geiger.<O:p</O:p

All because ESPN is too lazy to produce something worth watching, they need to create Tabloid stories to get viewers for their crap that they call journalism. Well it's Do What Ever It Takes, Anything Legal, and Anything Illegal, Get it done, Take them and anything affiliated with them Down! IT'S WAR!!!!
Let's be real. We can't take ESPN down. tOSU, the Big 10 can't take ESPN down. About all we can do is:

1. Don't watch ESPN
2. Don't talk about ESPN. The most damaging thing you can do to anyone or anything is to cease to care about them.

From this point on....

Ok we hire a new A.D. and what would i like this guy to do. I want this guy to hold a coach/players only meeting and lay down the law once and for all. It doesnt matter what happened before, nobody has any control over that now but from this point on this is the way its gonna be. Every player will take a mandatory course on what is and what isnt a NCAA violation, they will know the rules inside and out, any anybody who crosses that line is off the team. No ifs no butts no excuses. The university is under the microscope like never before and nobody is gonna break the rules and think they are gonna get away with it. Each and every booster is given a letter that also lets them know if they in any way shape or form cause a player to violate a NCAA rule they too will pay the consequences including losing any seats, boxes, or any other extra benefits they receive. Send a message now before we get the death penalty for one more players mis step or one more dumbass booster doing something they know is wrong; just a microcosm of whats wrong with society today. If you do something you know is wrong dont blame somebody else or come up with the excuse that anybody else in my shoes woulda done it; you break the rules you pay the price. end of story.

All players get this training every year already.

Same for boosters...they get annual training on what they can and cannot do.

end of june he is leaving and staying around as an advisor after that...

and i hate to say this.....but i am getting vibes that more shit is going to hit the fan soon in regards to football.....but no verification yet....i have several major media people trying to find out more for us....

at this point it is simply rumor.....
Jesus dude...RELAX!!!! You could not be more poorly informed. Anyone with REAL connections to the school or administration knew this was in the works two weeks ago. You are just part of a phish network...no offense but there are people more qualified to report this info than you. Don't make this any worse than it is by flying off the handle. There are going to be stories and rumors and cameras. But there are no significant planned personnel changes beyond this with regard to the football program. All that was worked out before the Alamo Bowl. Just sit back, grab some beers and watch our Bucks make their NC run.

Dissapointed

Its a little dissapointing that MC and Espn were able to get AG out. This only emboldens ex-players with axes to grind, to go to the tabloid media(ESPN). Whoever is hired will have JT on a short leash and it will only take another TS-like incident or less to get JT fired. I only ask that in an effort to get 5-star recruits tOSU looks beyond football talent and really checks out the person. Id rather lose a few recruits than lose JT. Yes MC was important to the NC, but it was Quality people like Krenzel,Nugent.Smith, Grant et.al who also contributed.

Firstly, the Athletic Department and Football program does exactly that. Secondly, did you say death penalty? Not only is the death penalty not warranted and TOTALLY ridiculous but the idea of ANY penalty was squashed today.

Weather the ESPN storm. Unless there are more idiots like Troy Smith or Chris Gamble lied, there is nothing more coming. And even if CG lied, then he is in the same small ship that sailed with Mo....a lonely boat at that.

Tell me where Geiger's name was dragged through the mud. Was he accused of being a drug addict? A wife beater? A gambler? Nope. The media just was saying that Geiger wasn't doing a good job and at worse, was a cheater. Oh my god..a person of power and prestige being accused of not doing a good job. Haven't heard that one before.
No however He will be missed. Believe me there could be a lot worse, and by the way when this usually happens bad things in the program follow.

Do you think that JT administers the Alumni Assoc, President Club or Buckeye Club? Talk to Patrick Chun or Archie Griffin.

The AD role has been executed very well at tOS and we are not going to lose JT.
