Alumni Tickets - New 2008 Policy

I was lucky enough to get tickets to Penn State. However, I applied online with another person so that we could get 4 seats together. But the other person got tickets to Ohio!!!! Anyone else do group seating and not have it honored??

I did ended up getting tickets to OU. Also, a friend who graduated in 1987 dropped out of the Alumni Association when he moved to DC several years ago. He moved back within 18 months but didn't rejoin until this year and he got tickets to Troy and another friend has been buying for 17 years and got nothing. So, I guess the random drawing is working as planned.

I guess we'll have to have itchy trigger fingers if tix come available on hangonsloopy if we want to tailgate together.:biggrin:

Anyway, still no e-mail, but I did see my credit card was charged for tix this morning. WOO HOO!!!

i have yet to get an e-mail either way also.

my wife got YSU tickets and was notified about a week ago. I have been an alum for 3 years longer than her. so, who knows.

i still think this random lottery is horseshit. if it means I don't get tickets for a few years so that longstanding alums get theirs, I can live with that.

Same for me as well. Wife and I submitted two individual applications on the same credit card on two separate days. As of today, our card has been charged for one pair of tickets, and neither of us has received any communication from the OSU ticket office. There is no info on the credit card transaction to tell which application was accepted.

Got tired of waiting for an e-mail, so I called the ticket office. They confirmed that I was recieving two tickets to the YSU game...it's not Michigan, but it's better than nothing. :)

You could probably get into Troy or YSU for less than face. That's why I stayed away this year. I will only get to go one game and I wanted to pick which one I go to. With the old system at least we had a chance to decline the game.
