Alumni Tickets - New 2008 Policy

Membership DOES NOT have it's privileges. I guess they want you to step up join the Buckeye or President's Club to assure you get a ticket. I guess I'll just have to keep buying tickets at Hangonsloopy.com a day or so before the game and hope for the best.

I think this sucks!!! My husband and I really look forward to our ONE game each season. Now, after all these years, we might not be fortunate enough to win ourselves tickets in the lottery! :pissed: (But on the good side, maybe we will be chosen for the SCUM game)

can someone please summarize what is on the link for me? for some reason when i click on it it says my security settings won't let me view that page. (i'm at work)

Post #1 summarizes the changes. Everybody going for alumni tickets is in one lottery to get two tickets to a single game, assigned by chance, including the TSUN game. There is no longer any priority for longevity of past purchase years.

is it like usual where we get a card in the mail and we send it back with our check or do we have to contact the ticket office first thing in the morning?

what time does it start? does when you register effect your chances for any particular game (or even getting a pair for that matter)?

It starts tomorrow, May 1st (minutes away for you, but it may not be open until normal working hours in the morning). But you need your ticket ID from what they mail out in order to place your order online. Also, the credit card will not be charged until sometime in July (they plan on it happening in the first week in July), after the June lottery has determined who will get tickets to which games. They used to take the money right away and return it if you ended up not getting tickets.

It seems that whoever registers during the month of May will have an equal chance, but I don't think it says that in so many words.

If you have ordered stuff from them before or done your tickets online before you can put it in now and it will take you there and you can put in your application. I just did mine, now just have to wait 2 months to see what I win :)
