Yeah that almost made sense, because Robiskie had SO many chances to choke.

So, Mario drops 3 of 8 passes (37.5% of them) and averages a craptacular 6.8 ypc, for 34 yards with a longest of 10 yards, whilst Robo drops 0 of 2 passes and averages a respectable 10.5 ypc, for 21 yards with a longest of 15 yards. Robo had 2/3 of Mario's yardage on only 1/4 the chances, yet Mario was the better receiver that day...right.

That's the new math for ya. Did you know scUM actually beat Appy State? If only the refs had used the correct formula that day.

That wouldn't work even with "new" math.

That requires Miles Better Math -

.... where losses becomes ties, all games involving overtime situations are decided in regulation and the #7 team in the nation, with two asinine losses and three near-death experiences can o'er leap anybody just because Miles says so.

Doesn't take away from the fact that Manningham did choke.

Oregon was the only other big game that Michigan had anyways. And it was a blowout before halftime. You make it sound like Michigan had so many huge games compared to OSU. Aside from Oregon, our schedules looked basically the same.

34 combined touchdowns and the most rushing yards on his team. I'm not that surprised the Big Ten objectively picked him. He had the best numbers statistically.

I can see where the stats help. There's no doubt he performed well. Yet, IU didn't even play against scUM or the Bucks.

No biggie.
