Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

Most Universities have a few classes that split the Semester in half.
I'm not sure if there's a credit minimum to be eligible for practice, or just 1 class is enough.
Good question

I remember academic scholarships that required me to be a full time student

that was almost 40 years ago and they weren’t athletic scholarship, so … whatever

There's no way we're going to learn for sure, because he's since passed away, but the general legend our family has about our grandfather is that he walked up to a professor when he was in college, and asked if he could enroll. Long story short, but it was just weeks away from the finals, and he just now wants to enroll in that class. Finally, they let him enroll and in a few weeks was ready for the final exam and passed the class.
Legit? I don't know. It sounds cool, though. He probably didn't have a stellar 40 time.
But I'd imagine that, at Alabama, if the football team wants something done, the football team gets something done.

Shu’bonte Tyler Greene, 24, died Sunday in Birmingham, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. The crash happened at 8:13 p.m. Sunday on Ninth Street West at Third Avenue West. Authorities said Greene was driving a motorcycle when he was hit by a truck.

Greene was the driver of a Chevy Impala that night that had stopped and had its trunk open. Defense attorneys claim someone removed a shotgun from the trunk of the car that night and fired it during the shooting.

Greene in his testimony claimed to not know the trunk was open and what, if anything, was retrieved from it.

Wonder if all the NIL donors fled after Satan left? PS, back in the day, a 'full-time' student was having 12 hours on the schedule. Dunno about coming in mid-term and picking up a class after missing half the lectures. But nowadays, most of the classes seem to be on-line, so if they are taped, one could attend all the classes by the time finals come around. But not certain if all the coloring books are not colored in/on, hard to believe one SEC player could get credit for that.....

You can get a lot of courses online and most lectures are taped and hosted online for rewatch, along with slideshows and professor notes. Makes missing classes fairly harmless, even in STEM majors.
