maybe. i'd say it's better strategy to do like he did honestly. try to take the opportunity to actually hurt him. he might have been winning the fight technically, but i doubt he was doing any real damage. sure it didn't work out, but the fifth round was a looooong way away. it's not like it was 3:14 (or whatever it was) in the 5th round.

You just don't "hurt" Fedor that much. It's better to win on points, no matter how far away that possibillity is.
