I just got a new one..I opened up chrome and my usual three tabs opened. When I clicked on the BP tab I got a warning message from "slightyd?" saying my Java was out of date. I closed it and it took my BP tab to some unofficial java download page.

Clarity;2364611; said:I don't like the sound of that one at all. Any more information you or anyone else can provide to help track it down would be helpful.
HorseshoeFetish;2364734; said:I will. It only happened once yesterday and hasn't occurred so far today. If it happens again I'll try to provide a screen shot.
Clarity;2364613; said:What browser do you use? If it's chrome or Firefox, are you able to use debug or Firebug (respectively) to figure out what position and as is provoking that survey.

So the "opt out" actually works? I was concerned that it was actually a link to something else...The only good thing about those is they actually honor requests to opt out of ever receiving them again. Which, sadly, is far more effective than my nearly once a week effort to stomp them the hell out of the constantly changing ad campaigns on which they improperly piggyback.
So if you get one, take a sec to opt out. You'll be sparing yourself any more from here and every other site they plague.
