Game wasnt on here, but it looked to be a pretty close game...

I will agree that it was pretty pathetic from Clemson after starting 17-0.

With that said I still think FSU will need another win to get in the tourney...They are too inconsistent...

I only saw highlights, but it looked like a bailout call with 1.5 seconds to go. The game was tied, and FSU's Thornton dribbled into the top of the lane. It looked like he stepped on somebody's foot, and threw up a prayer as he went down, but the refs called a foul. He made the second free throw to decide the game.

If a ref should ever swallow a whistle, it's in a tie game with only a couple of seconds left.

Couldnt agree more, that is exactally how I saw it as well...You just hate to see officials make that call in the game...

Good eye. I noticed at several times in the last minute of overtime that the clock didn't start anywhere near as soon as it should have after play resumed.

they've beaten at least 7 tournament teams: air force, davidson, indiana, georgetown, gonzaga, georgia tech, and boston college (twice). they have lost 7 out of their last 11 games; however, they have too many quality wins to be left out. even if name recognition is not considered, the argument that duke should not make the tournament will not be made among the selection committee members.

Duke's still a team you don't want to play. Personally I'm relieved that Duke is out because it means my 'Hoos don't have to play them tomorrow. Win over Duke or not, NC State still doesn't present as much of a threat. 'Course, now I have to hope it's not a case of "be careful what you wish for."
