although i want to avoid this drama as much as possible, i do recall gary housteau saying that ginn sr did make such statements as edge and mili have stated. it doesnt take a phd in astrophysics to see what goes on either.

and other programs will do their best to go after glenville kids for two reasons. first, to try and sway the kids, which is a tough proposition, and two to be the fallback in case they dont make it to osu academically or for other reasons.

do you not think iowa would cream their pants if lennix got an act score high enough to get through clearinghouse but not high enough for osu?

Where is your fucking proof though? I have moutains of evidence and research that shows that most Glenville players don't commit to OSU at the end even though they publicly state different leaders. :)

Freddie Lenix publicly states that Iowa is his leader now. How many people actually believe that? And why do they not believe that? Could it possibly be because they know the way Glenville kids work? OH that is so hard to grasp.

I'm outta this thread, this board doesn't need bullshit drama.

i think this is a matter of timing. back in the day glenville needed to do whatever they could do draw attention to their players. now their reputation is solid and there really is no need for the superstars to drag it out to get other players some attention.

I agree. I understand a kid wanting to take all their visits and wanting teammates to get a look, but why play games? I guess I don't understand why Freddy doesn't just say he has no leader rather than to continue to name Iowa.
This is just a kid I really want in scarlet and gray.

although, just because Gary said that Ginn Sr. said "something to the effect" hardly validates your stance that each of these guys is a lock from day 1 and are taking their visits for politcal reasons, and tell the media what they want to hear.........furthermore, you SAYING that Gary said this has absolutely zero credence, because you also SAID that no Glenville recruits have ever stated a leader in the 2nd link, and we all see how that brilliant statement of yours turned out

as far as you stating that Mili is backing up your assertion, Mili is simply offering his OPINION, and last i checked he doesn't have sitdown dinners with Mr. Ginn Sr., so his OPINION on this matter holds exactly the same weight as the rest of our OPINIONS

yes all of these guys ended up buckeyes but you're COMPLETELY MISSING THE POINT of my quoting their statements, etc......once again another point that i'm repeating that you missed the first 39 times around: each experience was different, taking different trips, some stating a leader, others not, some saying OSU, others naming other leaders, one guy not even taking visits..........point is if it was all political and puppeteered by Ginn Sr., and not for the personal experience and gain of the individual recruits, their experiences would be much more uniform...........yes they ended up buckeyes, and they were all moderate to heavy leans from the start, but not LOCKS

about Jamario, your point about him not being from Glenville is totally irrelevant, he has been a Glenville football player for the last few years, he is part of the program, and is under the guidance of Ginn Sr., and IIRC doesn't he LIVE with them? why wouldn't he carry out the "plan"???

one last note, where is my "amazing" hostility? i stated clearly that my reason for coming on here was to hear others' opinions about this "theory", and secondly to call your ass out, as well as the collective stupidity of Bucknuts, where you spend most of your time.......but this was not a hostile post, yes the second link was hostile, and for good reason

Its his damn business why... and if Ginn Sr tells them that if they wait it will stir up pub for their boys...then why not fucking wait... If I had a ride to tOSU, and thought I could get my buddy a ride to Marshall or somewhere when he might otherwise played in AA or lower... or not gotten a ride at all... why wouldn't I want to help him out?

Who the fuck cares... they are good players... they come here sometimes...

Grad- I guess we should be ashamed that we spend some time on Bucknuts. I never knew! Bottom line is you show your maturity with every post, I really could care less what you think boy, many people on this site and the other site can speak for me, I doubt many people have respect for you. OK, I'd say you've both had your say so let's agree to disagree and move on.

If you still have some fighting left, do it in PMs. Edge has been a good poster over here and has provided some good insight on the boards.

As for Bucknuts, I have no problem with the site although I hardly post over there anymore. I mostly lurk, read the articles, and use the database. However, I think even the staff over there would admit that the forums have gone way downhill. The worst part of that is some of these posters are finding their way over here. I'm not sure if these people think its necessary to trash the other sites in order to fit in, but as an observer, I would say the guys who bash BN are major contributors to the demise of those forums. Then they come over here, try the same BS, get smacked, complain about the "gang mentality," the "elite" attitudes over here, blah blah blah.

Same story different day.

I apologize for this shit over here. I'm not gonna drag this on here if he responds, he can reach me by pm. The last thing I want is a personal stuff happening online, I got called out by the dude though. It's real easy to ignore it I suppose, but getting your name called out because someone can't handle a disagreement is a little shitty.
But that's it for me.

Akak- I don't know what your problem is, I didn't start a damn thing here. I responded when I was called out because someone disagreed with my view. I've been here for awhile and plan to stay, but thanks for that post.
