For the ladies on the board, in fairness, I will say I saw a lot of drooling frat boy wannabe losers saying shit like "Who knows if she did it, but I'll fuck the truth out of her" about that murdering bitch Casey Anthony as well, so it works both ways.

Good point. Doesn't make them any less of a moron though.

One thing that is really starting to piss me off is the new media fad of blaming Urban Meyer for this murder. It's as if NOW they notice he had players arrested during his time at Florida. You know, when he's at Ohio State.

People may have known that Hernandez had poor character and a bad temper. When he was at Florida, Urban used to invite him over for bible study. He reached his hand out time and time again. If anything, Urban did all that he could to lead Hernandez away from behavior that might lead him into this kind of trouble.

What did people want from Urban? To have kicked Hernandez off the team and back to Connecticut with the same crowd he now famously hangs out with now? Would that have made him LESS LIKELY to engage in a gang lifestyle?

The media is just using this tragedy as a convenient excuse to take their routine potshots at anything Ohio State. And it's fucking bullshit.

Simple issue with society, blame everyone else for one person's screw up. It's the theme of society today, "Don't blame the individual but blame society."

Dissect it anyway you wish utilizing any number of psychological or sociological theories about why Hernandez did this or did that. He had a poor up bringing, crappy parents, got picked on school, didn't have a Big Wheel, only had Corn Flakes for breakfast and not Captain Crunch, and I could go on and on about this tool or any other ass clown that blames everyone else for their problems other than the person in the mirror.

Wake up peeps, the guy is a thug through and through, it doesn't matter how he got there now because he had a hand in killing another human being (maybe more).

He was like this before Urban Meyer coached the punk. Urban Meyer is a human being and a FOOTBALL COACH, Not the second coming of Jesus Christ. Some kids he can help, some kids he cannot. Just so happens that Hernandez was one of those kids he couldn't help.

Does the Orlando Sentinel have an article up yet that explains how this is actually all coach Meyer's fault?

This is going to get attached to Coach Meyer. It is already. Today Rome was ridiculing him for not commenting on the case yet. Rome said he wanted to know how a guy who went to Bible studies in the Meyer home ended up on the wrong side of a murder charge.

It would be easy to say that Urban should just ignore those questions, but I suspect that the media will hound him until he makes some kind of statement and takes a few questions. You don't want that crap dragging into camp or the season.

"Coach, how is Braxton's passing coming along? Oh, and Coach, a followup? How do you feel about having coached a murderer? Where did you go wrong? Shouldn't you have been tougher with your discipline?"

Well, at that point I'll probably have to acknowledge that Urban Meyer really is the modern day Charles Manson and that Brandon Spikes is probably his Squeaky Fromme.

1. Who gives a fuck what Jim Rome wants?
2. What relevance does bible study have on this whole thing? Is Hernandez the first person ever to be charged with murder while having some religious studies or involvement in his life? Far from it.
3. Like Urban could possibly have answer to that..... It's not like Hernandez was living under Urban's roof at the time of the murder(s). Did anyone go back and criticize Frank Beamer when the whole Vick/dogfighting thing broke?
4. Who gives a fuck what Jim Rome wants?
