Yeah and Beanie shouldn't have left after 3 BCS losses. It's time. He has nothing really left to prove.

He's got to prove that he can shoot from outside. Also needs to show that he has the ability to drive without using the spin move every time, don't think that's gonna be very effective in the league.

I wouldn't say that. But, I do understand why he'd leave.

Maybe I worded that wrong - he's proven he can play the game and has the requisite skill set to be successful in the NBA.

I'd hate to do it, but if I were Matta and I was looking out for the best for the player, I would tell ET he needs to go and get paid before the NBA gets locked out in the 2010-2011 season. Get the guaranteed contract.

As for Mullens and Buford, they need to stick around. Mullens to get more physical and Buford to get more consistency.

Make free throws, win game, miss free throws, well, we see the outcome.
Turner and Hill shot their free throws well, Lauderdale and Mullens did not... same story as the entire year. I think the terrible defensive rebounding and bad decisions breaking the press were more of a factor than the free throws.

No rebounding, no defense, no PG. Theme all year long. It was bound to bite tOSU at some point in the tourney this year, it just came sooner than I expected. They should be absolutely ashamed by being out-rebounded that badly by a team that no one knows about. It's comical and sad at the same time.

Look at him - he's 6'7, he's strong and he can control the ball. Essentially with a year or two of seasoning he could a 20-10 guy in the NBA.

He's a lottery pick. And if he is a lottery pick, he's wasting himself in college a this point (athletically, let's not get into academics).....

He needs a better outside shot to be a lottery pick and he has to learn to give up the ball when he is double and tripled teamed. He has gotten better in distributing the ball during the year but he has to recognize the double teams before they happen.....

Call it what you want, but if we don't miss 4 out of 5 at the end of regulation we're not having this discussion.

He can shoot from the outside. He's not going to be spotting up from 3 all game long and he can develop an outside shot in the NBA anyway.

and if you watch he's used quite a bit more than just the spin move, but you remember it because it gets called for traveling (which doesn't exist in the NBA anymore after this season) more often than not.

He is big enough and quick enough to take a defender off the ball to the hoop.

Seriously? He proved he was the best player on a flawed and inexperienced team, with his own inconsistencies and weaknesses still intact. Turner can probably do fine in the NBA next year if he wants, but he's got a lot more to prove at the college level than Beanie.

I think having a true PG and having more than a 7 player rotation would help him out tremendously. He's the type of guy who takes everything on his shoulders if he can.

And again he can develop the outside shot in the NBA. The physical tools are ready to go.

No defense? Siena shot 33% from the field.
