I think the numbers and size of the squad is showing up in this game just as it did in the Big 10 tourney. This has been quite a season and I hate to see it end on a downer, but I didn't pick the Bucks to get to Sweet 16 on my chart. What I find hard to accept is that it sounds like there are more G'Town fans in Dayton than Buckeyes.

I think all the Big 10 teams looked a bit small compared to the opposition. It was painful to watch IU try and match up against all the giants Gonzaga put on the floor.

like when he pushed it up teh court and drew a foul? Or scored inside? Foster has been just as bad driving the lane, and lewis forced a few drives as well. Sylvester has OFTEN been the best person at getting the ball to dials inside, a skill that butler often lacks (not that he can't, he just doesn't do it as consistently). Our team has been struggling in general, not just sylvester. Our guards have made poor passes, half of our possesions have been lazy, and we forced a lot of shots in the beginning of the game.
yeah because all "inferior" opponents just lay down and die... or not. They don't call this march madness for nothing.

The Sylvester comment was out of line and I apologized. About the Davidson comment, I didn't say they couldn't beat us. I was saying that it's harder to come back from a 13 point deficit to a good team than it is to come back from a small 4 point deficit to a lesser team.

nice tough defense by the bucks, with a dangerous but effective reachin by sylvester to disrupt that drive.

good drive, butler steps on the baseline... I still love the intensity we are playing with.
