#7 Georgetown 70, #2 Ohio State 52 - NCAA Tournament (Final)

if you guys can't see the game go to the cbssports thing and watch it online for free. even if you aren't a VIP member the line has like 30 people in it at a time.

i have it on my laptop and the laptop hooked up to the tv, so its just like watching it on tv.

its amazing to me how the same experts who said the Big Ten was the best conference in America prior to the tournament are now doing a 180

Well no I actually thought the Big 10 were overrated when they said it the first time

And I am not being negative by any means, just callin it like I see it. Stats and reality are 2 very different things.

this is it, now or next year, so i am sure Matta is giving them a good speech and i look for things to turn around. what else can we do?

I can't see it either, i am reduced to listening to it, which makes it all the more harder. However, we have fans there, if we get something started out of the half we can get something going. GM was down against UNC at half and won the game, so it can be done.

and I'm wearing my lucky jersey. doesn't that count for something?

those of you who CHANGED something about your pregame ritual (AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) get it right! put on your lucky socks (no matter how smelly), find the lucky hat, eat the lucky meal, do what it TAKES! take one for the team, man!
It was after I turned the game off against LSU that we made our comeback. I've tried that twice today: one time it worked, the other time it didn't.

the sky was falling after the first half in the last game. The opponent and scenario is more bleak, no doubt, but I'm not giving up on this team yet.
Sometimes I wonder how Syl even made the team. I can't think of one special thing he brings to the team. I hate watching him driving in the lane. Take him out.
like when he pushed it up teh court and drew a foul? Or scored inside? Foster has been just as bad driving the lane, and lewis forced a few drives as well. Sylvester has OFTEN been the best person at getting the ball to dials inside, a skill that butler often lacks (not that he can't, he just doesn't do it as consistently). Our team has been struggling in general, not just sylvester. Our guards have made poor passes, half of our possesions have been lazy, and we forced a lot of shots in the beginning of the game.
A 13 point deficit to a good team is different then a 4 point deficit to an inferior opponent.
yeah because all "inferior" opponents just lay down and die... or not. They don't call this march madness for nothing.

Actually, in the regular season the Big Ten had the best non-conference mark against the major conferences.......we lose a couple of these tournament games by a few baskets and everything thinks the Big Ten is overrated......its amazing to me how the same experts who said the Big Ten was the best conference in America prior to the tournament are now doing a 180.....

Lets try to stay positive in this thread and remember their is another half to play.

I agree, we need to attack the basket.
i disagree. as a conference, our OOC schedule was weak. it doesn't matter if you go undefeated OOC when none of your OOC opponents even made the Dance. (i realize that LSU is in.) the telling point is that the Big Ten lost the Big Ten-ACC challenge, and the ACC is way down this year.

it's hard for the announcers NOT do do a 180 when there is exactly ONE Big Ten team left, and they are getting shelled in what amounts to a home game.

ZERO Big Ten teams in the Sweet 16 means that Big Ten is not too great.
