Some players did nothing wrong and had their pictures and names on a website that was referenced by many other websites on the night before the suspensions were announced, and at least one of them had his name mentioned when the story was discussed during a bowl game broadcast.

So there was some negative PR for some players who have apparently done nothing wrong. :wink2:

You are absolutely right - I stand corrected.

I'm sure that the media members who published such slanderous statements will issue personal apologies to the players wrongfully accused. Yeah, right.... :roll1:

Yes and no. Again, many of these kids see tOSU as their one chance to make it big...many come from stable backgrounds and many come from nothing. You know my situation...I've given thousands of dollars to former players on full-scholarship just to help them keep up with the essentials. If I truly felt I was being hustled or the kids weren't in need, I would never give them the money.

It is a family after all. It doesn't matter what anyone outside the family thinks, says or does. Sometimes my brother is an @hole, I would still go to war with him. Let the NCAA do what they want. Tress and co. tried to do the right thing and suspend them for the bowl game. NCAA said no. As has been said before, there's no guarantee what the NCAA will do on appeal. At this point, we don't know if they're coming back or not. We don't know what will happen if they do. We don't know this that or the other.

Screw it. If the family thinks it's ok for them to play, to hell with what everyone else thinks (us included).

There's a game to play. Time to stop thinking about distractions. Nothing can be done about them now. Worry about that stuff later boys, the only thing on your mind at this point should be getting ready for an epic battle in NOLA. Regardless of what I feel about it, the FAMILY won't go down without a fight.

This is still gonna be one helluva game. Screw ESPiN. Screw the rest of the media and even the angry fans (myself included). It's not about us. It's about them. Focus gentleman. It's what allows us to succeed when we have every reason not to. It will bring you together and make you dangerous.

All due respect (and you've earned it, as far as I'm concerned) to our visiting Arkansas fans, but...

Take it out on the Hogs. I will be rooting for an old fashioned curb stomping.
