We have the rosters now. Named rosters delay our start date, but have zero impact on choosing teams. They're strictly cosmetic. Sliders are going to be one of the last decisions and shouldn't shift gameplay dramatically (they'll just tone down some of the unrealistic extremes). I believe the patch gets applied to existing online dynasties, and I'm not sure we even know that it needs one, do we?


So the timeline comes down to deciding how important it is to test out every available team before playing. Most of the squads are fairly mediocre, and the demo gives us a good feel for the value of pocket passers.


Do people feel we should try out every squad before starting?

I don't know if they are coming out with a patch. Have you guys seen the list of what has been updated since the demo (which is 2 months proir to the final build)??? They're fixing a LOT of things.

I think we should pick teams, get into our conferences, figure out sliders, get a good set of rosters (with names) and then start.

Do you guys want to stagger picks? So one conf does not get stuck with a disproportionate set of great or bad picks? Or just pick all twelve and deal with it?

What is the ballpark ETA for the dell customers?

I say just deal with it, cause not one team is going to be overly powerful than others, a lot of pretty even teams, so I don't think it will have a big impact personally.

ok, I feel like an idiot, but I can't find the rosters for the schools on the teambuilder website

What do you guys think about drafting 24-48 hrs after everyone has the game in their hands?

Teambuilder: you need to login, click to create a team, go to roster, then set the team template to whatever team to want to evaluate

I don't know if I mentioned earlier but I am going to be out of the country for two weeks (July 25th - Aug 9th). If we get started before then I could still participate thanks to the new online dynasty feature. If we end up starting while I'm gone I'm going to give my account info to jwins and let him get my team up and running. I don't know what to do about playing the games though. Hopefully we can work my schedule out so I don't have any user games and maybe jwins can play my games for the computer (if that's ok with everyone else).
