I don't know enough about how this whole thing works to have an opinion, whatever people more knowledgeable than myself decide is fine with me.

Basically. We wouldn't be making up our own conferences though. We would be replacing teams who geographically make sense to fit in a BCS conference and replace them with some of their lowly teams.

Correct. The one stipulation with num 1 is that one mid major will act as utah's replacement, since the current pac 10+2 does not have enough weak teams to choose between.

You are already guaranteed to be in the conference with those 2 (see the first post). We're deciding whether to let users randomly pick what teams are in those conferences, or whether to base it largely on existing conference memberships. It sounds like you are voting for custom ones.

Custom allows everyone to have a better selection of teams to choose from. I would like to keep them as close as possible to real life but to change things so people can have their team of choice.

I vote we don't make any decisions on teams or conferences until a week or two after the game is out. Then start a week or two after that. That should give enough time for some good rosters to come out.

Also, if there is a patch will we have to start over?

I agree, for those that got it off of Dell... we're not sure if we'll get it on release or a week after.

I think we should pick teams before it comes out so we can get used to playing with that team once the game does come out, if we wait a week or 2 after the game, then you have to give us a week or 2 to get used to the team, and we wouldn't even be starting til a month after

I agree. Pick teams no later than the weekend before the game comes out. That way we can practice with that team. Rosters should be out at the VERY latest one week after the game is released.

It will be a lot easier to pick a team once the game comes out and you can look through the rosters. If you guys want it earlier, i say we pick teams ASAP after the game comes out. (2-3 days)
