I just asked my fiance, and he said he has that episode on tape (he's a 5th degree black belt in Kenpo). I'm going to watch it! I took a few Krav Maga lessons in Columbus but then ended up moving to Boston and haven't started it back up. I think it's a great martial art.

No more making fun of Manfred for his "H" instead of an "I"..... he just might open a can of Kenpo on our asses!

There are some rumors out there that if the writer's strike ends soon that we could see a half season of 24 in the fall and then the last half next Jan. I doubt it.

It could happen. I know that they are like lost and have 8 episodes done already, but didn't want to show half of the season without knowing when they could do the rest. Plus I know that they say the second half of the seaon they do allot of rewrites and changes as they get a feel of how the season goes.

Fox: '24' on shelf until next January

One fallout of the Hollywood writers strike is that fans of Fox's drama "24" have to wait until next January to see Jack Bauer again.

The network has committed to air a full season on consecutive weeks and had been planning to start last month. If it had started airing new episodes soon, the season finale would not have taken place until the summer, when TV networks rarely show their high-profile programs.

It's time to get this thread going again.

First, 24 will segue from Season 6 to Season 7 with "24: Redemption," a 2-hour TV movie, which airs on November 23rd (capping off a great weekend). Apparently, Jack Bauer finds himself in the middle of a military coup and impending genocide in South Africa. Notable new cast members include Cherry Jones as the new U.S. president, Jon Voight as the new bad guy, and Steve19 as Bauer's covert ally after the coup disrupts his internet connection to Buckeye Planet. The trailer can be seen here: 24 Trailer.

The official description from tv.com:
TV Movie.Season 7, 24: Redemption

Set and shot on location in Africa, Bauer, mentor Carl Benton and Steve19 battle an international crisis, while here at home the nation prepares for a new president on inauguration day. Taking place just a few months before the new day dawns, U.S. State Department officer Frank Tramell and Jonah Hodges are pulling the strings that will set the stage and raise the stakes for Season Seven.
Then, Season 7 is set to premier on Sunday, January 11, 2009 and it is rumored to be a 2-Night 4-Hour Premiere following the tradition of the past three seasons. Source. Wiki page for Season 7.
