Best season in a few years IMO.

They seem to have a big story, but it is contained in a bunch of smaller stories. It is like the first 6 hours covered an entire story and could be complete, but they are going to add on with another bigger story.

BTW, San Antonio Buck would have really like where the next act is going. It seems to be modelled after a Vince Flynn book. (Flynn was a creative consultant for 24 quite a few seasons ago)

Book is: Vince Flynn

I feel very good about White House security after the second hour tonight. :tongue2:

Knowing that foreign terrorists are about to attack a high value target in D.C., when the same group is responsible for killing her son and trying to kill her husband; to not have her surrounded by a freakin' battalion was pretty sad.

And Agent Walker, rather than diving onto the boat, how about a phone call saying the terrorists are on a boat floating up the Potomac, blow it out of the water. Or at least tell them to stop all boat traffic within 1 mile of the Lincoln Memorial.

And where was Jack's cellphone when he was locked in with the president?

Juma's men were jamming signals. But if one were designing a lockdown room, one may want to plan on backup methods of communication to the outside.

I think this season kind of sucks so far. I've been a die hard fan ever since the first season, and I'm just not that impressed with what's been happening.

I like how the one Secret Service guy couldn't get an infrared scan of the White House because of how heavily fortified it is, yet the bad guys kicked in a weak brick wall to get in. Yes, I realize the other guy chipped away some additional concrete in front of the brick wall, but a few sledge hammer hits and it would have been just as easy. I think my stucco, chicken wire and dry wall in my house would have been harder to get into.

Seriously!!!! How in the hell is there no way for the freaking PRESIDENT of the U.S. to contact anyone if she gets put in "lock down?" You would figure that room would be like a small combat control center. Not some over-sized closet with some Radio Shack control system that Jack can take apart with a phillips head and short circuit the thing in 22 seconds. If the thing was shorted out, how in the hell did he open it?

Juma: "We have the President, stand down"
Secret Service (Barney Fife): "Prove it!"
Juma: "I said so - pinky swear"
Secret Service (Barney Fife): "Damn, he pinky swore - Agents, stand down!"

Why couldn't Aaron Pierce inform the other Secret Service agents that the President was in lock-down? He was on that same damn communication system with the ear piece?

I know you are joking because if she would have called for a fighter jet or whatever Juna and his guys would have never made it to the White House. What were they going to do with that full hour:huh: I suppose Jack and the President could have sat down for a nice meal and a good political discussion.

I really hope it's not Aaron...maybe Bill? :( Either of them and I'll be ticked, what about Tony possibly coming in to help save the day too?

I hope it is not Aaron either but it is time for one of the really good guys to go and I don't think that Buchanan's time is up quite yet. For some reason, I just can't see Tony coming back so soon. They might need him a little bit later because we never know what else might be coming.

I usually don't have to question everything on 24 because usually it is more believable than what it has been this season. Usually, the characters are pretty smart and don't do stupid things like they were some hot chick in a horror movie, where she always hides in a closet or something instead of getting the hell out of Dodge. You want to yell at the screen because no one could be that stupid!!!!

It's so predictable. VP wont allow for invasion but Larry Moss will have to wrestle necessity with legality and go ahead against procedure. This whole show has been built around red tape bureaucracy versus doing what is necessary even if against international/US torture laws.

Screw the taser, Jack should have waterboarded that wussy chief of staff of Red Foreman. He wouldnt have lasted 5 seconds of the water (most cant last 13 seconds).

Im sure this will ultimately be an indictment against the past administration's policy. It is Hollywood afterall and that troll, Garofolo is part of the cast.

While the season has been entertaining, it just has been completely unrealistic.

Along with everything that everyone above me has said, I'm just not buying that the White House is that easy to break into. You can't tell me that a bunch of African dudes from a developing country can break into one of the most heavily-guarded buildings on the planet, in the capital of the most powerful country in the world.

What? Some kid running around with a tablet pc can go around breaking down all electronic security measures set by the U.S. Government because someone gave him a tip on how it works? There's no back up systems of any kind? Nobody has ANY way of communicating to the outside except for some girl flashing Morse code out of a window? Entire Washington D.C. and its airspace is locked down by the military, yet the back entrance to the White House is left open to bust in with a hand-held drill? Nobody happens to see Juma and his men coming in around through the back and picking off SS agents on any kind of surveillance system?

Pleaseeeeeeee
