Yes, yes! More Elisha Cuthbert!!!!!!!!!!

Oh... but LESS ridiculous story lines surrounding her. In fact, she should be given no speaking lines, no plot points that imply her charecter has made any kind of decision etc. But she should be shown in bathing suits - this would be ideal.

I still think she should have been eaten by a cougar in Season 2.

It's reassuring to know that when this country is at the brink of war, our F-18's can get into the air and then be only 22 minutes away from a target 6 miles off the coast of Southern California. That's about 500 miles away, assuming they were bothering to fly at top speed.

And after spending the last few hours worrying about a war because of the little circuit thing, Jack confronts both the Chinese guy and his father, and then doesn't bother to ask either one of them where the thing is.

I refuse to watch any more 24 in the future. The comedic value is not worth the insult to my intelligence.

I think we tend to give our government too much credit for readiness or ability to handle all situations.

I don't know seems like lazy writing. Probably could have replaced flight time with scramble time. (i.e. getting the F-18s ready for a live sortie, getting the pilots prepped, etc....)

I just think they have tried to top themselves each season making the threat bigger and badder each time, and they have hit a peak.

I would like to see next years be smaller in scope, and more like season 1. But thats just me.

On Saturday night one of the cable channels had the season ending episode from seasons 2-5. When you watch them back to back like that you realize what they have done to the show.

Right. Our government has envisioned a total of zero scenarios where they'd always want to have the abillity to have an armed jet within 500 miles of the second largest city of the country.

I can't wait to see what kind of crap they're gonna come up with for next season. We're probably gonna have Steve Urkel as the new director of CTU and be subjected to 24 hours of the writers trying to make us not root for Chloe and her baby dying by poison gas.

I hope that the next season involves lots of cougars. Maybe they could have terrorists that release cougars in hospitals and hotels and stuff. They should also bring back Mandy.

A comment from the co-creator about season 7...

Here is an article posted in the new TV guide by Manny Coto:
"Jack starts next season in a very different place than any other season so far. Let's put it this way, I wouldn't be surprised if there's no CTU next year. CTU has become almost too comfortable you know?....We're pulling the rug out from under our characters. It's a pretty radical shift-a totally different context with a totally different villain. There will not be a ticking clock on a nuclear device. We're hewing much close to real life: tighter, more personal, more difficult for Jack. There may even be a plot thread that doesn't take place on US soil. In a sense, it's a reboot in location and personnel. We're going to be introducing a new stable of characters, along with a couple of old ones. Jack's not living under an alias. He's found a place he thinks he belongs and a job he enjoys doing that doesn't involve the government. What's also refreshing is the choice of villain: It's not a terrorist at all. And the character is fascinating, someone with a supremely dark past who's done something horrific and whose ambition is to regain his stature in the world. I just can't say enough how exciting it is. It's going to be pretty damn cool".
