After Lennox and the guys watch Lisa being banged by former ascended being Daniel Jackson (Stargate) for 20 minutes, they realize that he's on to her when she heads to the bathroom, and he doesn't upload the e-mails.

Then she comes out and he confronts her, and the guys are still sitting on their asses (or maybe still cleaning up with Kleenex). Only when the actual fight starts do they realize they may want to get a little closer. And gosh, she's suffered oxygen deprivation before they break in and rescue her. And later Lennox tells VP Dark Powers that "there was nothing we could have done."

Two hour finale. I put it at at least 10. Of course, it's been a tough year for Bauer killing... Maybe your 5.5 is better.

5.5 Number is based on the fact that most of the flunkies are already gone.

Farmer Bauer has one sacrificial lamb with him (that we know) and Cheng is on his own pretty much.

Also, I get the feeling that Jacks son (at least thats my guess) is the one who does Farmer Bauer in.

Looked like in the preview something happens to Chole also.

LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- The clock on "24" will keep ticking for two more seasons

Fox's unusually late renewal for the Emmy-winning thriller will allow Jack Bauer to keep saving the day through the 2008-09 season, which will be the series' eighth.

Series star Kiefer Sutherland already is locked to stay with the show through May 2009.

"We're re-creating the series," executive producer/showrunner Howard Gordon said. "It is going to be a real-time thriller. Beyond that, it's an open book."

Yeah, I heard something about that, but I doubt Jack offs her.

24 without Chloe isn't that bad a prospect.

Don't know the best way to re invent the show and keep the current format. It may be to have more than one 24 bamf working on different issues at the same time.

Glad the season is over.
Ending didn't have super twist which is different, and I guess a twist in of itself.

So they are saying they want to revamp the show and get out of L.A. etc. What would people like to see them do next year?

Based on how Jack said he didn't feel anything watching his father die, and a comment chang made at the end of teh show here is what I want to see happen.

Jump to the future a couple of years from this year. Chnag has escaped the federal prison ( remember he said his people would never let him stat in jail) Jack, working on his own, is hunting down Chang to take revenge for what happened to him in the chinese prison.

Thats just my thought, since I think there is still alot to explore about what happen to Jack while being held by the Chinese.

My guess is that the crux of next season will be about Jack trying to thwart a chinese attempt to free cheng, and the ensuing stuff that happens when Cheng is out. Of course that sounds a lot like the end game from season 1.

Would like to see what happens with the Doyle character. Assuming he is now blind in at least one eye, he will not be in the field. So what happens with him?
