Probably just waiting on a reason to get excited about the kid, I don't think people are convinced that he is truly interested

Looking at this through my scarlet & gray glasses, would be very surprised if he isn't a tad bit interested. With a junior (99% going pro) in front of him, plus a extremely raw other big, AND a supporting cast of darn good players, I'd be salivating at the chance to join up. I would, except for my 6" vertical, throw my hat in the ring. Question….do any athletes but the football guys get a chance at Real Life Wednesdays? Go Bucks!

A teammate of Johnson’s at the International Sports Academy, Canadian native Bediko is the state’s top player and has quickly shot up the rankings since receiving an offer from the Buckeyes in July. He is a five-star recruit ranked as the No. 21 overall player and No. 3 center in the class.

He averaged 10.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game in his junior season.

A COMMIT DOING SOME RECRUITING
Four-star combo guard Meechie Johnson wrapped up his recruitment in August, joining power forward Kalen Etzler as Ohio State’s second early 2021 commitment. If he has his way, he’d like one of his current teammates at Willoughby’s ISA at Andrews Osborne Academy to join him in scarlet and gray.

Though he sat out his junior season while recovering from a torn ACL, Johnson stayed in the ear of five-star center Charles Bediako about the possibility of teaming up in college at Ohio State, which offered him a scholarship in July.

“Every day,” Bediako told Eleven Warriors in February. “If it's one day it's not, then something's wrong. Something's wrong if it's not every day.”

probably will not have room if CH continues to get transfers that sit one season which is just nuts
