There will be room.

We graduated 1 player this season, but we are losing 4 (at least).

Transferring is about to get a whole lot easier if the NCAA waives the sit one rule.

And regardless, having an experienced lead guard for 2021-2022 is going to be at least as important as getting a big in the 2021 class. Probably more important.

I do not understand how you can say that we will have room for him. I guess we will if we do not take anyone else And Wesson leaves.

Currently we have 4 scholarships (that includes Wesson) for the class of 2021. Etzler and Johnson take two of those. If we bring in a non-grad transfer that eats up another scholarship so we are down to one for the 2021. So take your pick of Bediako, Branham, Brown, and whoever else we might be in on. So take your pick or am I missing something.

Kaleb Wesson would under no realistic scenario have eligibility in 2021.

Assuming we return absolutely everyone for 2021-2022 (simply not going to happen) we still need a viable lead guard for that season as much if not more than we need any frosh in that class. Also, a sit one play two would make them a junior with EJ and Diallo, so it actually helps class balance.

But the staff has every intention of taking 4 in the 2021 class and they are gonna have the space.

would be nice to be wrong about reid or holmgren not committing to us, but i think the 2021 post player we ultimately get is one we have not yet offered. hope we're not scampering during the 11th hour if/when reid and holmgren (likely) decide to go elsewhere. i'm sure we'll know much more in the fall when we hold some official visits. as stated before, i hope we show jalin billingsley some more love.
