Not if you aren’t going to score on yours. Ran into this both games back to back that ended the season.

You better score or you’re going to lose. If you aren’t going to be efficient with your possessions you’d better have more of them.

We went into each game with the better team. You aren’t going to change your approach pre game. The process would have worked with better execution.

That is what started this complete waste of my time. You have to execute.

The reason we lost wasn’t the fucking approach. It was a lack of execution.You are continuing to conflate the results you didn’t like with the approach.

I had a coach like you once lol… it was never the scheme or the play call. It was always just a lack of execution. I always took that like he was blaming the players. Maybe the lack of execution or efficiency is because we do the same things? Maybe we could stand to be more explosive and have different speeds? I shouldn’t even say Maybe because it’s more that I know it would help.

Any rate, I don’t mean to bother but I’m going to settle in the middle.

Yes we need to execute but we absolutely need to be more explosive and work in some different speeds. We have to be able to do it all. You can’t just do the same thing because if you need to be explosive or faster tempo then it’s something you’re not comfortable doing.

If Team A kicks off in the first half, and Team B kicks off the second, how does 1 team get 2 more possessions? Even a fumbled kickoff is a possession. An onside kick can steal a possession, but that’s really it.

Sorry, but I’m failing to see how Indiana has 12 possession to tOSU ‘s 10 (or 10 vs. 8), but if they speed up each team gets 12 possessions.

You’ve never seen a team steal a possession at the half? By holding the ball and running out the clock at the end of the game?

You can’t get more than 1-2 edge but you can absolutely choke away the opportunities for the opponent with an efficient offense.

That said, it’s more of a per play edge that does it but given the trainwreck this has turned into I’m trying to keep it as simple as I can.

If you get the ball first and end the half with the ball, you get +1 in that half.

But in the other half the other team gets the ball first and the best you can do it make the number even (barring an onside kick).

So I just don’t see the 2-possession difference,
