2026 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, Arrogant Twatwaffles, Emasculated Cucks, Feckless Marmots, Dirty Cheaters "Mid"chigan

The book is already out on Underwood. We saw the better Ds easily corral him last year and it's only going to get worse for him because he has not improved at all in any area.

Dampier has way better vision and is much better at those read type plays. You aren't replicating what you did with Dampier with Underwood. I think Whittingham and Co already recognize that even trying would probably turn into disaster, that's why you see the safer play calling that's getting complained about. They know they have a QB who can't make reads and is wildly inaccurate throwing the ball so of course they aren't going to call a bunch of higher risk type plays and get themselves behind the chains constantly. They gave him that chance at the end of the 1st half against WMU and he burnt them by throwing a completely awful INT that allowed WMU to score before half. Their best chance at winning is hoping the OL can get it together and the usual scUM ground and pound type attack starts working better along with the defense hanging on and keeping it close enough to give them a chance.

Ffrench going to scUM is of no shock. He's always been a bag chaser. He doesn't care that he's like the 7th option on a run heavy team as long as the check clears.
I think even more shocking about Underwood looking so bad, is the run game being so bad. Thats been the strength of scUM forever, and it arguably was the worst I've ever seen.
And imo, Underwoods legs were supposed to help the RBs similar to what Dampier did at Utah. And you're probably right, the staff doesnt feel confident with Underwood. But the fact they couldn't get Marshall and Hiter going should be terrifying for that staff.

And if Ffrench was a bag chaser, he'd stay at UT. ScUM isnt paying or offering more than UT. He was the guy wanting the Lamborghini deal if I recall when OSU was recruiting him. ScUM is getting him a Mustang or Charger

I'm assuming he left Texas because they didn't see enough out of him to assure him more money, he went to scUM 100% to secure another pay day.

I think the OL is a legit issue for scUM. They got pushed around all game by WMU. I know we had some struggles with Ball State but at least we were able to open it in the second half, scUM was getting dogged by WMUs DL all 4 quarters. It's going to be hard to get the running game going with a struggling OL when defenses can just tee off in the box because Underwood is of zero threat to beat them with his arm or legs.

I’ve been laughing all day at my scUM co-workers who have twisted themselves into knots trying to justify that Western sUM was “actually a really good team, and won the MAC last year” as their justification for the game. I would just tell them that no MAC team should push around a B1G school who hangs their hat on strong OL, heavy RB usage and just as strong DL play. ScUM is one of the last teams that should get outmuscled at the LOS, that’s a bigger problem than an incompetent Underwood. They had Jake Rudock and Wilton Speight who were pretty much 3star corpses and they got them 10 wins. The 5star “generational wunderkind “ may only get 7 or 8 wins this year :slappy:
