2026 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, Arrogant Twatwaffles, Emasculated Cucks, Feckless Marmots, Dirty Cheaters "Mid"chigan

If WMU kicks a field goal early in the game instead of thinking they need to score touchdowns, they would have been up 8. Michigan would have needed the 2 point conversion.
Didn't the Broncos do that later in the game? Go for it on a 4th and 3 instead of kicking a long field goal, while having a kicker who can boot 50 yarders no problem? That 3 points would have won it, or as you say, at least forced scUM into a 2 point attempt just to tie it.

They won't announce that a mistake was made.
Also, were any bets paid out that would be different if WMU wins the game? Probably. I know the cheaters didn't cover, so if you took WMU plus the points, you won. But if you picked WMU straight up, you lost your money. If you picked the cheaters straight up, you already got your money. Can the gamblers get their money back?
The reason I ask is we know that the gamblers have a seat in the room. They may be sitting against the back, not talking in the open. But they're there. And they wanted the cheaters to win.
Not saying they were talking to the refs. But they're present for the meetings where it SHOULD come out that the refs made the mistake.
But that announcement will never be made.

Very few people would have taken WMU ML. That would be 'fuck you' money that sharps don't spend because, by the numbers, it's a fools errands. Almost nobody takes scUM ML because the risk isn't worth the payout.

scUM was a 28pt favorite. If you took WMU to cover, obviously you did. If you took scUM to cover, that last TD wouldn't have made a shit bit of difference.

Money can corrupt. But in this case, Vegas is the scape-goat and/or boogeyman. No money of note was changing hands unless some random ttun fan dropped thousands last second on a hail Mary. Possible, but I doubt it.

I can't speak to the live betting situation. But statistically it's far less used than 'standard' pre-game lines.

Anybody remember The Game, 02? Independent clock operator put one more second back on. It'll be interesting to see how this is any different.

I don't remember. I watched the start of the game and the end. They might have at another point in the game. How they were stopping the Michigan offense, they could have won the game with only field goals. No need to risk fourth down conversions.

Legit asking did they look bad? The score doesn’t lie but can mislead - 13-12 looks brutal for a game like that. Was Underwood actual trash?

There was all kinds of sunshine pumping the last couple weeks about how improved Underwood has been since the spring game and that he was ready to be fully unleashed. He looked like the exact same QB as last year though.

Take away the bullshit second added back on and he was 11/21 with 123 yards 0 TDs and an INT and had led the team to just 7 points against a MAC defense.

The Big 10 is rightfully getting absolutely dragged for saving Michigans ass last night. Ultimately, it doesn’t really matter but it was nice to have last (3) Natty’s while dancing on the farcical nature that was the SEC for years.

The Big 10 looks as bad as any other conference, all to save a middling Michigan team that will finish year with 4+ losses.

Shameful what they did to WMU.

The only more shameless conference ref rig or attempted ref rig I can think of is when the Big East refs kept doing all they could to drag West Virginia to a W over Pitt in 2007 that woulda gotten them to the BCS title game. They failed but it was very egregious

So the downside to this as well, is the microscope Big 10 officials will be under going forward.

Big 10 refs are doing the OSU/Texas game on Saturday…..it’s just an awful look and you know they’re going to be extra careful to not look biased after what just happened at Michigan.
