Setting the tone that a coach can be pushed out after 1 year basically because the players, fans, and media friendlies put that pressure on. That's a super fun and secure culture to coach under.

Their options in that situation are going to be some comically bad rehash hire, like Billy Napier or some lesser coveted G4 HC/Coordinator type who's willing to take that risky chance stepping into a toxic program.

Every once in a while I accidentally venture over to r/CFB, where they major in apologizing for everything Michigan does and all the idiot posters trip all over each other to play nice.

Michigan fan after Michigan fan will post some version of "I didn't want to hire Wittingham.....he's not a culture fit". And nobody ever tells them their culture is cheating and threatening rape victims. Who is a culture fit that you would want? The Tate brothers? Your culture is the fucking problem you clown motherfuckers.

To which I'm glad......I don't want them to ever become self aware.

Your culture was sitting in jail after going nuts on the employee he was banging and that’s not even close to the worst thing that’s happened up there in the last 5 years.

The Culture before him can never coach in college again.

I would be surprised if they fire Whittingham this year. Possible for sure, but that seems extreme. There is suddenly a push to get a president in place, probably to get a new AD ASAP, which would be needed for a new coach search. So, maybe something big is happening.

I think Whittingham put the 50% out there. There have been rumblings that donors are holding money. He may have said that, to put pressure on the donors to open their wallets.

In any event, their better players will probably decide to go pro because of this debacle of a season. That will surely set them back.

I am interested to see if Hiter decides to stay.

I constantly find myself looking for a list of the cess in the pool up there. Had some rain one morning this week vacationing in Turks and Caicos and threw this together.

Feel free to share with your _not_ friends.

I can also share this as a PDF for anyone who wants to print it for physical handouts. It’s designed (not tested yet) to print on half a page of regular paper.
