FWIW, to my uneducated naked eye they seemed to miss far fewer blocks in the second half.

Agreed! However, Bo averaged 8 ypc and got over 100 yards. I think some of the new formations and movement that the Offense showed yesterday is going to pay dividends in the running game. If not, I have 4 years of eligibility left, so, there's always that.

And the crazy part is that Carnell Tate is just as deserving.

He really is, but I’m with @Jaxbuck that some of that is a result of Smith warping how defenses play, and that’s the tiebreaker between them for me as you can’t hype everyone. Hell, if it was really a best player award, I could make a pretty strong case for Arvell Reese.

This offense is so boringly great. None of the deep balls feel as special as they could because the receivers are great at getting open for uncontested throws. We’re blessed.
