2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

Underwood's sideline demeanor is about what you'd expect from a guy who's only at a place because they wrote the biggest check. Goofing and laughing giving the appearance that he could care less that the team was getting their ass kicked.

He could develop into a decent QB the tools are objectively there, but that's not gonna happen at scUM.
Hes been seen all over town in his corvette, so the check cashed. Hes not getting paid by the W

Has the CheatersUpNorthTeam kept Sharon around long enough to pretend he wasn't kept just to be the fall guy? It's a delicate balance to be sure.

They aren't gonna finish with a bad enough record to justify a firing this year. Hard to see them going less than 8-4 with what's left on their schedule. Which is technically an improvement even though I think this team overall is not as good as last years 7-5 bunch. I think the higher ups involved with the university are likely well aware that they dodged a bullet getting off with a relative slap on the wrist for their cheating. They will likely take their tainted title and be ok with a return to 8 maybe 9 wins being a "good season" for them.

Hate to say this. My Moeller buddies tell me Marshall was a great kid, solid student, good attitude. But he was getting beat up by the end of that game. I don't think he's big enough to be the main dog in a Michigan defense.
Funny that you mention Marshall, because I have a friend who’s kid plays for St X, but has friends that play for scUM. They all decided to invest in real estate around South Bend and also Ann Arbor, but Marshall decided to get tattoos and a new sports car.… He could still be a good kid with good attitude, just an interesting observation from parents

As far as his play, he was brought in to be in A rotation. But he also was utilized as a primary RB in Hs. But scUM uses RBs so much that they need at least 3-4 to get through an entire season

Fully agree, Sherrone is a good enough coach to keep them at 8-9 wins a season. They’re slow, plodding 3 yards and a cloud of dust style will keep them in playoff conversation yearly but never really winning it. And that’ll be enough. If Day can get it together, OSU should see a yearly drubbing like what Urban did to Hairball.

Think Haynes getting dinged up is gonna be a common theme the rest of the year. The offense is 100% reliant on him they have to get him as many carries as they can.

They are basically a 1 trick pony on offense and defense .

Haynes on offense and Barham on defense. And Barham isn't even as intimidating as some of the other recent pass rushers they have had.

It's hilarious that they thought there was gonna be zero dropoff from those 2 1st round picks DTs, the fall off is comical it's been a long time since we've seen a scUM DL get pushed around this much.

The OL is good at creating a couple of home run chances per game but outside of that they are pretty average. Especially in pass protection.

So get off to a good start and make them play from behind. They still have a better punter and long distance FG kicker.

Still would take like a 17 point lead for me to feel really comfortable. At 10 or even 14 all it takes is one of those bullshit 60 yard right up the middle untouched TD runs for them to be right back in it, a dumb turnover or something away from being right back at tied.

I'm sure Day learned his lesson about trying to measure his dick against their strengths. This year, I have to assume that he unleashes hell on them through the air.

Lucky for us their "strength's" are a significant downgrade even from lost year. If Day happens to go full stupid again we can probably still pull it out this year.
