2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

At this point, the entire scUM offense is Justice Haynes. And some are even calling an upset to Nebraska. The 3 game stretch of USC, Washington and Little Brother will be very telling to their season. And also to Underwood's development.

Take away the 75 yard TD run against OU and Haynes has 18 carries for 50 yards. If you can stop the long runs from happening their run game is very underwhelming

I just don't see it. Nebraska, USC, and Sparty aren't the teams we think of - Dr. Tom Osborne, John McKay, and Duffy Daugherty level teams - when we see those names on a schedule. Then again, I don't exactly see Schembechler-level talent on the Michigan sidelines.

USC definitely has more talent than scUM.

Corn and Sparty it's closer to equal. I'm not sure Sparty will pull it off but Corn is @ Corn and scUM has a lame duck interim coach. Corn is winning that game

That's an absurd way to look at teams. All 3 should beat this garbage ass Michigan team.

This scUM team has shown nothing. Maybe if they beat the breaks off of New Mexico and then played a actual real close game with Oklahoma I could see making that argument.

Instead New Mexico had the ball near midfield only down 10 in the 4th quarter. And the Oklahoma game was nowhere near as close as the score. OU made a handful of mistakes, mostly self inflicted ,that kept scUM from getting blown out

Be that as it may, it seems like Larry Ellison increasing his net worth by $100 billion overnight is an issue that may significantly affect college football. If he wants to treat the Michigan football team as his pet project going forward (or his wife after that old man passes), a drop in the bucket to Ellison would single-handedly create a payroll with which no other college football team could compete.

Just sayin': It could very well be a future issue. Larry Ellison the richest man in the world is 81 years old. His current and 6th wife (i.e. Jolin Zhu) who he married in 2023 is the avid scUM fan and she is only 47 years old. Considering Ellison's marriage history:

Adda Quinn (m. 1967; div. 1974)
Nancy Wheeler Jenkins (m. 1977; div. 1978)
Barbara Boothe (m. 1983; div. 1986)
Melanie Craft (m. 2003; div. 2010)
Nikita Kahn (m. 2010; div. 2020)
Jolin (Keren) Zhu (m. 2023)

With a man of Ellison's wealth and marriage history; I'll say the current wife signed an "ironclad" prenuptial agreement. She'll get something; but I'm guessing that the bulk of his estate will probably go to his 2 children (i.e. David and Megan) that he had with Barbara Boothe.

Thats been their offense for years, and something OSU has had issues with the past few seasons. A few open field tackles and OSU has at least 2 wins in The Game. Haynes is going to be their workhorse it seems all year and Moore will run a similar offense to when McCarthy was there because of having a frosh QB. The OC, Longo's best ever offense he ran has been a 2023 UNC team with Drake Maye and Omarion Hampton and still could only go 8-5. And this scUM team has no dangerous WRs, only TEs as a perimeter threat and 1 RB in Haynes. Good luck keeping Underwood for 3yrs in an offense that will make him regress. They have 3 WRs coming in 2026 class, with 2 being worth anything. And the class is led by Savion Hiter. Who will probably be battling Jordan Marshall for RB1

I hope youre kidding, because im not sure why you would use coaches from ancient history to be a barometer for a current team.... And you forgot that Washington could very well also be a tough out for them as well. A talented balanced offense, could give scUM fits. USC also has the best team arguably of Rileys tenure in USC and looks similar to his teams from Oklahoma. And Little brother could always play them tough and force them to make Underwood beat them with his arm.

They have the #12, #22 and #173 WRs in this current class.

Not terrible but no exactly high end either. Problem is their WR development has been so bad in recent memory that it doesn't even matter what recruits they bring in, odds are they end up wildly underperforming their recruiting ranking.
