These teams just can't help themselves and go out of their way to play into scUMs only stronger points.

Are you talking about USC vs Scum or a rehash of how the Game went the last couple years? Because I am getting flashbacks.

I agree by the way. I sadly think that is how USC vs Scum plays out, and the reason will be Lincoln Riley not just lack of care about defense, but what appears to be a actual disdain for defense.

He’s also an idiot with clock management. I don’t have official stats to back this up, but USC has to lead the country in the number of games in which a team took the lead in the last 3 minutes but still lost the game.

He scored too early against Illinois, throwing a TD pass from the 16-yard line with 1:55 left, and by golly they lost on a FG as time expired.

Thus was a game with a score in the 30s, so you shouldn’t assume you’re going to be able to stop the other team in their 2-minute drill.
