2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

What is even more hilarious is that now at this point in Underwood's development, the head coach has to sit out a two-game ban where he (allegedly) can't even oversee the practice sessions. Hopefully, someone from NCAA enforcement will be checking to verify that Moore doesn't violate the two week ban. At first, I was pissed about them letting Moore coach the first two games and then taking the suspension for weeks 3 and 4 but now I'm kind of happy it turned out that way. Fuck them. Come on Nebraska! Beat these fucks in Week 4.

They were dumb to not just sit Sherrone the first 2 games. They were losing this one regardless. Not that I think Sherrone is sone great coach but I think they definitely lose to Corn with whatever dope circus in charge for that game.

I think two things are true about scums offense right now

1) To get Underwood to flip his commitment, Moore promised him that he would not turn him into a running quarterback and would run a pro style offense. The reason Underwood did not commit to Michigan originally as he was worried about his development. Moore had to make this promise to get him to flip.

2) Right now Underwood does not know the all the plays that Michigan is trying to use in any given game (let alone the entire playbook) . I have seen Underwood turn the wrong way on play action pass fakes several times. Add the play where he threw to MaCulley's back (while he was blocking) and then argued with Haynes on the sideline it's pretty clear somebody's not on the right page.

This puts Moore in a box. Does he simplify the call sheet more? Does he hope Underwood learns all the plays they want to use? Does he break his promise to Underwood and put in more QB runs?

Let's hope he chooses poorly.
In Underwoods defense, he signed with the understanding he'd be given all their opponents defensive plays ahead of time.

A couple thoughts on the SCUM defense.

1) Whatever combination of cheating and talent allow them to have an elite front 7 the last few years, they do not have that on this team. OU did not have any consistent running success yesterday or last week except for QB power run. SCUM had only 1 play concept to stop the entire game and they could not do it. When was the last time you saw a Scum defense allow a long drive, that was running a single play concept, drive the entire length of the field for a game clinching score? (don't talk to me about the facemask because the field view of the play showed Mateer had a crease to his right that would have gotten him the first down)

2) I still think the scum secondary is a question mark. Mateer to me is a good passer with really questionable mechanics and OU's passing game concepts are really simple.

What other QB do they have that’s likely to be any better? Playing Underwoody now gets him experience the hard way, much faster. By The Game he’s likely to be much better than now, and much better than their other QB options.
Or an absolute shit show head case that can't get out of his own way.

Playing before you're ready mentally doesn't always equal fast learning. Sometimes it fucks their head up. Permanently. No idea which it'll be here but I don't see how one is more likely than the other. Does tsun have someone on staff with experience in keeping a $30m man from having a nervous breakdown? Guess we will see.

Can't wait for us to administer our brand of "fucks their head up" session on this shitgibbon in Nov.

9 of 24 for 142 yards and a 40.2 QBR. Sucks when you don't know the defensive play call in advance.
I was perusing YouTube this morning for some Underwood reactions. One video posted by two Michigan fans had a comment by another fan who was wondering what happened to all the sure tackling. Hate to break it to the guy that it's probably harder to tackle when the defense doesn't know what play is coming and where the ball carrier is going to be.
