Unfortunately even most cable networks censor it. It has to be seen in full form to truly be appreciated. Too may people today don't understand what the point of the movie was. It was to break down, and show how ridiculous common stereotypes are. Many people don't know that Richard Pryor wrote a lot of the film ( uncredited) and was originally going to play Black Bart until his own rising career caused scheduling conflicts. It's airing tomorrow at 9AM on AMC.![]()

Badges? We don't need so stinking badges!...and we don't want to ruin anybody's weekend.
I'm starting to lean towards forming a posse and going up to Ann Arbor and doing an ol' number 6 on the place.
Someone's gonna have to go back and get a shit load of quarters!Badges? We don't need so stinking badges!

Don’t you love when they do the movies that didn’t age well lists and about every great late 70s and 80s movie is on there. It’s like um yeah times they were different.I forgot that they called that "the ol' number 6".

I love the whole Sheriff coming to Rock Ridge segment. Clevon Little was hilarious in that movie. This one just tickles me so:
I’d sure appreciate it, sir, if you could find it in your heart…
…to hang him up by his neck until he was dead.
