Unfortunately even most cable networks censor it. It has to be seen in full form to truly be appreciated. Too may people today don't understand what the point of the movie was. It was to break down, and show how ridiculous common stereotypes are. Many people don't know that Richard Pryor wrote a lot of the film ( uncredited) and was originally going to play Black Bart until his own rising career caused scheduling conflicts.

Sure, but did they EVER air it uncensored on non-premium cable like AMC? It was on TBS all the time when I was growing up and I'm sure it was edited then, too. It's not like taking the F-bombs and hard-Rs out of movies is some new development.

It was dimes but the Lepetomane throughway bit is one of my favorite parts of that movie

"Now what'll that asshole think of next" is something I heard a version of a thousand times if I heard it once as a kid.

Don’t you love when they do the movies that didn’t age well lists and about every great late 70s and 80s movie is on there. It’s like um yeah times they were different.

I love the whole Sheriff coming to Rock Ridge segment. Clevon Little was hilarious in that movie.
