2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

The players "not knowing" and believing that they were really that good fits right in with their delusional fanbase. You knew exactly how to shutdown formations/plays that were never ran in a live game before? The entire sideline is pointing to where the ball is going? I'm going to have to say that you are either the most ignorant and naive person on the planet or lying your ass off. Or both.
And the funniest thing is, the coaches are claiming they also didn't know what was going on. Many of these guys have decades playing and coaching and all of a sudden Connor nobody stallions cracks the code. Lol

Tik tok, motherfuckers.
A response to this post by @Premierdrum followed up with what that minimum framework was....posting here because it makes my bits tingly.

Discussions revolve(d) around a minimum acceptable framework from the NCAA's perspective, which includes partial vacations of the 2021, 2022, and 2023 seasons, a 2 year postseason ban, loss of recognition of the 2021-23 B1G titles and football championship", fines, scholarship reductions, probation, and significant penalties levied against current and former coaches and staffers
Obviously we all would rather FORFEITS instead of VACATES, but aside from that....this does a good job of attempting to undo what they did as best they could, while also punishing them into the future as a warning for anybody else who wants to try this bullshit.

Rico on Valenti posed the question if you want the punishment to hit them in the past or the future. I don't see why it shouldn't be both.

I agree the penalties should hit the past AND the future.

I’d like to see the NCAA‘s recommended penalties leak out in June, even though they won’t be final until the obvious appeal delays the official announcement until November.

Let the world (and recruits) know they’re looking at a multi-year bowl ban as they struggle through the 2025 season. Then in November, when their 7-5 season is almost done, let them know that their delays due to stonewalling and appealing have caused the 2-year postseason ban to be for 2026 and 2027, not including the mediocre 2025 season they’re about to complete.

I want the wins gone and a multi-year bowl ban, and a 5-year show cause for Sherrone Moore and everyone involved in the sign stealing and hacked practice footage. Fines are rather meaningless, and scholarship reductions aren‘t as impactful as they should be. But whack them starting in 2026 and 2027.

Oklahoma and who else. Penn State is off their schedule, U Wash? maybe. Sparty? Did Dantoniol come back? Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin, USC? It looks like they moved to the ACC between the two O's on their schedule.

Their defense likely takes a real big step back this year, they aren't just plug and play replacing those 1st round draft clogs they had at DT.

The offense could very realistically somehow be worse than last year too.

The ineptitude of certain other B1G teams will definitely keep them from being a total disaster record wise, but it's hard to see them finishing any better than 7-5/8-4 at the absolute best.

Their team last year was better and that team lost to Washington and barely beat teams like USC, Sparty and Minnesota.

Purdue and Maryland are good games for that.

I think they likely lose @ Oklahoma, @ Nebraska, @ USC and to Ohio State. That's 4 losses right there.

Even if they manage to pull one of those out of their ass (@ Nebraska most likely) they probably make up for it for losing some game like @ Michigan State or to Wisconsin.

I have no doubt that something helped Michigan turn things around "overnight" and that stealing signals contributed greatly to it. But it didn't hurt that they had 1 outstanding, three better than average DEs, a couple of good DBs, good tight ends, two running backs who could take a pounding, and a good athlete at QB who wasn't asked to win games with accuracy. Also didn't hurt that they caught an OSU team in a three year period of major coaching changes.
How many of those players commit to a tsun not coached by Harbaugh? Because if they don't duck us in 20 and start cheating, he sure as fuck ain't the coach. I guess you're saying with their stellar track record of hiring coaches they'd rebound quickly? Lol. If I rob a band and invest the money in real estate that pays off I'm rich but the fuckin FBI isn't gonna let me keep any of it.

Really good point. They had to be practicing this shit during the week which obliterates the notion that it was all happening in real time on the sideline.
