2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

It was reported that Partridge pressured players to be "untruthful" to investigators. Implies that they had some "truth" to tell.
I can see that. If the players truly believed some crap about Stalions doing it in real time, Partridge would want them to be "truthful." I think the question is how many knew. One factor is that if some players knew then Reno Jesus would certainly have been among them. After getting played by Harbaugh's sham QB competition and losing a year on the sideline wouldn't he have turned rat when he got to Iowa? That guy had every reason to burn Harbaugh to the ground.

Is he the rat? I know it's always stated that the rat was within the program, but Reno Jesus had been within the program, he just wasn't any longer after the 22 season.

Yeah.....truth about how, come to think of it, Stallions did seem to know exactly what was coming every time. Truth about how all of a sudden they're practicing running defensive plays they've never ran before.

"I'm usually in this position on this play, but the coaches told me to sprint in the other direction at the snap when they call it. Wouldn't you know it.....ball hit me in the head."

That's a truth that a player could have told an investigator that, without the knowledge we now have on how much they were cheating, just sounds like a coach who's really good at his job.....as far as the kid is concerned. If the kid instead says "Nah we just practiced like usual. Stallions wasn't even in the building"...what does the investigator have to go off of?

My guess, and it's only a guess, is that many players probably suspected "something" fishy was going on, but not what exactly or how.

Then again, all of 'em chose to go to *ichigan so how smart could they really be anyway...?

Yeah, I mean come on. The kids that were there in 2020 when they were total dogshit had to figure there was something going on. They went from getting their teeth kicked in to suddenly being a really good/efficient offense and shutting people down on defense. The same issues dated back to when Cheatin' Jim arrived in 2015, now he suddenly fixed EVERYTHING in year 7?

Ever since the Weiss news broke, I've been thinking Stallions was being set up as the fall guy for the real story - them having footage of plays we've never run on "film" before.

The players "not knowing" and believing that they were really that good fits right in with their delusional fanbase. You knew exactly how to shutdown formations/plays that were never ran in a live game before? The entire sideline is pointing to where the ball is going? I'm going to have to say that you are either the most ignorant and naive person on the planet or lying your ass off. Or both.

I have no doubt that something helped Michigan turn things around "overnight" and that stealing signals contributed greatly to it. But it didn't hurt that they had 1 outstanding, three better than average DEs, a couple of good DBs, good tight ends, two running backs who could take a pounding, and a good athlete at QB who wasn't asked to win games with accuracy. Also didn't hurt that they caught an OSU team in a three year period of major coaching changes.
