2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

I’m just interested in what penalties they get.

There’s no way this isn’t the most corrupt program of all time. From the NCAA recruiting violations, the pedos on staff, the disregard for cooperation, the Stalions stuff, the feet dragging to get their 2023 season in, the Weis stuff, and accessing practice footage of teams? Far worse than SMU who got the death penalty.

Now they won’t get that but this is textbook LOIC and repeat offender. Anything short of vacated wins, titles, and post season bans would be an epic EPIC failure on the part of the NCAA.

I could care less about recruiting restrictions. NIL makes that moot. So this has got to involve what I listed above otherwise why wouldn’t teams do this if it can result in a few conference titles and a natty.

Some comforting discussions tonight.
Both the NCAA and B1G are aware of the video server access allegations. Sourcing states that evidence has been "turned over" to the B1G and that the NCAA "has access" to evidence. That was the distinction as phrased by my folks.
I asked my source the likelihood that the Weiss unauthorized access / WHAC video server ends up under NCAA investigation. Their answer? "As long as the sun comes up tomorrow."
UMFB will be stewing in controversies for at least the next couple of seasons.
Couldn't have happened to a more honest, virtuous, deserving group of fellas.

At this point, they have to cut Ono loose and get somebody in there who's both competent and capable of realistic crisis management and damage mitigation. To stick with the guy who's primary emotional motivation is to be loved by the foosball players is suicide. So, I'm sure that's exactly what they'll do because they are constitutionally incapable of admitting fault or error.

All because of arrogance. It's not fear that motivates them, it's arrogance.

At this point, the key info from the Weiss fiasco is who knew what and when.
It was reported that the university was alerted and investigated in mid-Dec and he was suspended in mid-Jan. In between, they played (and lost) a playoff game.

If nudies were known by "higher-ups" in mid-Dec and he was allowed to continue to coach and have access to university computer systems, this will blow up (monetarily and NCAA-wise). Any such material should be addressed through suspension in <24hrs.

Fine, I'll do it. I definitely won't intentionally run that entire school into the ground or anything. You only have to pay me $1million, too.....I'm cheap compared to whatever that jocksniffer probably makes.

altho also the possibility a betting site was in on it

If it was just one bettor, Uncle Guido from Jersey would deal with scUM
If a betting site is in on it, Al Pacino is coming back
