Just a schlub from Y-town
UF is very much the typical southern SEC type university. Very prone to making rash decisions, and very reactionary when things start to go south.
UF may actually end up hiring him, even in the face of red flags, but would not be surprised if a short time later they pull the rug.

When you think about it, "let's blame it on the guy who isn't here anymore" is the only real option they have.
That guy may or may not have actually done it all but he's going to wear it.
I've seen this kind of thing happen at different places. Depending on how scorched earth they are willing to go, he will be lucky to be employable. This could literally be a career ender.

If they hadn't let the jock-sniffer stonewall the NCAA for a year and a half and had actually whacked him when it became obvious what he was doing, they'd have some ground to stand on. As it is, letting him backdoor out for a higher paying job isn't going to cut it. Shouldn't cut it at least.

Yeah the more that it comes out I think your hypothesis that he's the rat is the correct guess.
It would stand to reason that a guy from the "true" Bo era/school of thought up there is the one who said enough is enough and turned.

What if this turns into a redemption arc and Warde has been the agent provocateur this whole time....THAT would be classic. Harbaugh/Stallions et al dream up this stupid scheme after Warde more or less publicly wants Harbaugh gone, and once Warde catches wind of it, he turns them into the NCAA RIGHT as the scheme is about to place them into the National Title picture
