Fine. But yesterday, it was Todd Monken. Two days ago, Jeff Brohm. Three days ago....
I think KW would be a good hire for them. Therefore, I hope he comes to his senses and steers clear of AA.Notice it says "targeting" and not "hiring".
From *GoBoard:
No, he was also being called Cooper 2.0 because of The Game AND the Bowl loss in 2023. It looked like there had been zero preparations done. I get that the bowl didn't count for shit that year, but that was a very poorly coached game.Lol Let me laugh you out of the building. No one blamed him for the 2022 game. If anything they blamed Knowles.
And 2023 he was playing a 3rd string QB who was clearly not ready after mccord bailed and brown got hurt. Even then he lost 14-3. Now yes it looked like you coul dhave give us infiniate qtrs and we weren't scoring 14.
But he was called cooper for TSUN and TSUN only
I think KW would be a good hire for them. Therefore, I hope he comes to his senses and steers clear of AA.
they don’t deserve him
He’s 66 too… maybe he can coach for 3-5 years but then they’ll restart all over again.Whittingham is gonna have 1 foot out the door the whole time if they do hire him. He's better than Brohm or Monken but he's still not a guy who moves the needle enough to make them a serious annual title threat.
They need a stopgap. That's the thing no one up there wants to admit. Their football coaches have been a shitshow the last 5 years. They need an outsider who will come in and run a clean program with no issues. For 3-5 years hopefully while keeping them near 9-3 most of the time then they can go all in again. He’s 66 too… maybe he can coach for 3-5 years but then they’ll restart all over again.
Would be the best fit for TCUN I agree with that much. But maybe they only want him to stop gap for a younger coach?

That's what Moore was supposed to be. But they fucked that up and showed the culture inside was rotten not just harbaugh.
And Whittingham is perfect for that role
There is no “needle-mover” at this point.Whittingham is gonna have 1 foot out the door the whole time if they do hire him. He's better than Brohm or Monken but he's still not a guy who moves the needle enough to make them a serious annual title threat.
