My $.02
1). I trust Marcell Reed and his legs more than I trust Carson Beck when things go to shit. Even in a slopfest, rockfight game - I imagine he'll pick up 2-3 First Downs/half just scrambling alone.
2). Outside of Caleb Downs, Rueben Bain might be the best defensive player in the playoffs (Mason Thomas of OU is #3). That said, I rate TAMU's defense deeper and more effective at home.
3). Long story short - if you can't go into SMU and with on the road, I have SIGNIFICANT doubts about you going into Kyle Field and winning on the road.

Bama has flipped back to a slight 'dog tonight at OU.
Bama at plus money is a bet I will take. OU didn't shut down the Bama offense last time, they capitalized on turnovers. That's harder to do twice.
Worth a small gamble imo.
