Ohio State’s April 13 spring game is officially set for a noon kickoff.

Tickets for this year’s spring game will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. General admission seats will cost $10, while a limited number of reserved seats will be available for $22 or $37. Tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster.
Television information for this year’s spring game has not yet been announced, though Big Ten Network has usually broadcasted the exhibition.

RYAN DAY RADIO SHOW: RYAN DAY SAYS OHIO STATE MUST HAVE “THE MOST COMPETITIVE SPRING SINCE I'VE BEEN HERE,” PRAISES TIM WALTON AND MARK PANTONI FOR BUCKEYES’ RECENT RECRUITING SUCCESS

ON OHIO STATE'S SPRING PRACTICES

  • Day said he expects competition in position battles and in day-to-day workouts and practices since the Buckeyes have so many talented players.

I don’t put a lot of stock into the info coming out of Spring practice. Just my take that there’s a lot of noise about this or that coming it, but when the season starts we see the other thing.
Agreed. I love watching the spring game every year, but I don't know enough to know if I should be excited about one thing or another. "What a great play by the offense to score that touchdown!" Was it? Or was it a terrible play by the defense?

OHIO STATE’S SPRING GAME TO BE TELEVISED BY FOX ON APRIL 13

Ohio State’s spring game will be televised on a national network.

After an offseason that's built no shortage of hype, the Buckeyes' spring game at noon on April 13 will be televised by FOX, instead of Big Ten Network, which usually broadcasts the exhibition.

Just sayin': Tickets are still available.

General admission seats to the spring game cost $8, while a limited number of reserved seats are available for prices starting at $41. Tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster.

The $8 tickets are actually $10 (there is an additional $2 per ticket facility charge).

I'll probably drive over to the Ohio State ticket office and purchase my tickets there (like I did last year) to avoid paying the scumbags at Ticketmaster an additional $10 service/order processing fee ($5 service fee + $3 order processing fee).

Ohio State held its seventh practice of spring Thursday morning and the media interviewed nine Buckeye players afterward. The group included defensive linemen Kayden McDonald, Jason Moore, Hero Kanu, Caden Curry and Kenyatta Jackson, as well as tight ends Gee Scott Jr., Jelani Thurman, Bennett Christian and Pat Gurd.

SILVER BULLETS OF THE DAY. While PFF ranked Jack Sawyer, JT Tuimoloau, Tyleik Williams, Denzel Burke and Caleb Downs among its top 10 returners at each defensive position, there are dozens of other Buckeyes who could become impact performers for Ohio State’s defense in 2024.

Since the start of spring football, Ohio State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles has featured some of them on his social media, where he has named a collection of Buckeyes the “Silver Bullet Of The Day” for four of the team’s first six practices.
