Exactly what I thought and I know you can script a lot of things out, but he was dialed in during all of it. Knew exactly where things are and it seems like he has all of his guys that he wants now (players and coaches). I hope he is letting the reigns go like I think you're saying, fatal flaw for many head coaches is not being able to do that and I'm looking right at my favorite one (name definitely doesn't rhyme with bourbon).Agreed. I thought Day did a great job of it. He came across as knowledgeable and authentic and not the wound-up reactionary guy we saw a lot of last year. Watching and not knowing otherwise, you wouldn’t have been able to tell the heat he’s going to get if the 2024 campaign doesn’t go to plan. I loved that. He seemed tactically relaxed, which is exactly what I want to see. That makes me think that he feels good about the changes that have been made and if he does, I do.
Time to go on a run I think and I know I've said it a million times, but I would love to see Day be the guy to do it even though I agree a loss to tcun is the end if it happens. Damn good human being, just gotta be a damn good coach here too and that means beating the team up north. We've got the right makeup.
