I think it’s next Friday, just before The Game. When is the deadline for scUM to respond to the NCAA I invistigations? Thought I heard it was November right before The Game??
So predictable. D.F.B.I.A.They are bringing the comedy after scoring 50 against a bad NW team, mostly due to NWs terrible offense handing them easy points

They're not even the fucking nerd school in Chicago. They're the smart, rich kid school. They have no excuse.
Just sayin': FWIW, Carter Smith just committed to Cheese.Oct 30, 2024: Carter Smith decommits from Michigan Wolverines
Just sayin': Apparently he wasn't offered anything close to the $10M they reportedly offered Bryce Underwood........
With the money spent on Underwood, he is most likely going to play next year, and most likely gone the next season. They are bringing the comedy after scoring 50 against a bad NW team, mostly due to NWs terrible offense handing them easy points

So we're all on the same page-
Today, Nov. 25th, is UM's deadline to reply to the NOA. This will be transmitted privately and securely, and will not be made public today.
I do expect at least some journalistic confirmation later on that the reply has been sent, and wouldn't be surprised to see some loosely-sourced characterizations from UM-sympathetic outlets. I expect UM's tight lid to continue to quash any larger leaks.
Our next best chance to see full documentation is in about 3 weeks, which was UM's FOIA office's initial timeline for releasing the NOA under open records laws. While that timeline could still slide, they haven't yet reset their expectations.
After today, there is a 60-90 day window within which the COI reviews UM's response and schedules their hearing. Given steps that have been taken by enforcement staff over the past few months, I do not expect this part of the process to drag out nearly as long as it could.

I'm highly, highly confident that we'll see at least a 2 year postseason ban, full or partial vacation of the 2021-23 seasons*, and the NCAA discontinuing recognition of the 21-23 B1G titles at the 23 CFP championship. I definitely expect the B1G to follow their lead and strip those titles outright. The CFP is a lesser-known answer here, but I think there's a better chance than not that they'd strip it as well. I also expect multiple current and former coaches to receive show-cause penalties, at least one lifetime ban, scholarship reductions, probation, etc.
*they tried a few different angles on this in working towards a negotiated resolution, but UM wouldn't hear of it. With the ultimate punishment coming fully from the Committee instead of enforcement staff at the negotiation table, how they carve this up - if at all - will be interesting. My guess in order of most likely-
1. 21-23 seasons vacated in full
2. 21-23 seasons vacated, only games against teams that were scouted by the impermissible scheme
3. 21-23 seasons vacated, only games in which Stalions was on the sideline

I foolishly thought they'd agree to the rather sweetheart deal they were offered.
He'll be under show-cause soon enough and they'll be stuck with him.
And me being wrong occasionally isn't out of the ordinary... just ask my ex-wife.

By the time they realized the depth of evidence against them and the flimsiness of their planned defense, they were too far downriver from reality with their fanbase to reverse course.
Their only realistic play at that point was the play the victim, wail about your lashes when they come, and try to sell your fanbase on a "bright future." We watched it play out in real time... including the Underwood flip.
