Harbaugh is such a likeable fellow that it seems like a lot of prominent sports journalists can't wait to start piling on. Wouldn't count on frosty though unless his bosses order him to.

Orlando Sentinel SEC/Florida State readership- I don't see the Dispatch or the Plain Dealer saying anything about the allegations, and of course the Enquirer is too worried about the Bengals, Reds, Xavier, UC and Notre Dame to look into the issue. Nothing from the Tribune in Chicago. Nothing from the Big Ten office. Nothing from any reliable source in Seattle, Portland, or LA.

Maybe there's nothing there in terms of evidence that would stand up in court - cause that's where all of this is going if the NCAA tries to take anything away. The Southern media are pissed that Florida State "got the shaft," Georgia wasn't in, Michigan had the nerve to beat 'bama and deny the SEC of it's rightful place as the "home of National Championships." Maybe they're the only voice out there that believes the "cheating" script.

Back from a hiatus to share this awful article and quote from NCAA President Charlie Baker :roll1:

“I don’t regret doing it because sitting on that information, I think we would have put everyone, including Michigan, in an awful place,” Baker said. “As it was, it was out in the public domain. And people either made adjustments or didn’t. And at the end of the day, no one believes at this point that Michigan didn’t win the national title fair and square. So, I think we did the right thing.”

Relax guys…

Paraphrasing but it’s basically saying they told the big ten to eliminate the competitive advantage. However they feel once they shared the details the playing field was level.

Which I agree with somewhat. However it’s also saying they feel they had an advantage prior.

Fuck it. Cheaters win. No consequences. Go full Anakin Skywalker and slaughter all the younglings, burn the damn Jedi temple to the ground, cut off Thanos’ hand, take the infinity gauntlet and snap the entire college football universe to ashes and use it for face paint.
I’m over the integrity/‘the right way’ approach. Become the fucking villian and embrace it.

This is exactly right.

Lots of people are really misunderstanding what the dude was saying. He was basically taking a victory lap for warning the Big Ten about Michigan's cheating. That's all he was doing.
